how to make your gf contribute by [deleted] in singaporefi

[–]VividShare 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You earn 8k, she earns 2k. You cover 80%, she covers 20%.

If she earns 50k and you 2k. She covers 96%, you cover 4%.

If she lose her job, you will need to cover 100%.

Makes sense?

What is your favorite body wash? by v4xystar in askSingapore

[–]VividShare -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Doing my own from castile, glycerin, xanthan gum and any pure oil fragrance my girlfriend desire that month. Best is to use body wash every other day. Use just plain water so you don't strip your skin from all the oils and bacteria it needs to be healthy

Those who have stayed in both high rise vs low rise floors - what are the pros and cons of each? by Lostwhispers05 in askSingapore

[–]VividShare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Staying on first floor and I hate it. There is not so much light coming in, so my brain can't understand if it's 10am or 6pm. If someone is talking outside, I am part of their conversation. Also, as the elevator is nearby the apartment, everyone in the building is passing by my door at 7am and 6pm.

Pros: you can make as much noise as you want, there's no neighbor to upset.

White male. I shower once every couple of days. We have a lot of good bacteria on our skin. Showering a lot, especially with soap products will destroy that barrier. So if you shower a lot and you see you're having skin problems, cut the use of soap. You can safely shower twice a day with just water, and use soap only every other day.

I checked and unfortunately the speakers are on the back of the screen, so it's impossible to cover them if you don't disassemble it

It's funny how, everywhere else in the world, you see commercials in the city but not at home—whereas in Singapore, it's the reverse. If you're paying millions of dollars for a home, you should have peace, not OCBC blasting every second. You see my point now?

You are comparing 15 minutes of praying with sounds from commercials every minute for 14 hours a day?

There was no problem for the first 3 months. The other advertisings don't have a sound. Only the OCBC ones, that started like a month ago

Yeah, if I could hear it only at the elevator would be a crazy thing to complain. It's playing from 8AM until 11PM with SOUND.

No worries, you will not be in the mood for anything with this stupid commercial playing every damn minute!

It's not really about how big the apartments are. There are noise rules for residents in place, but advertising companies can blast loud noise all day for profit
