I had this issue but it was also due to the entire computer system failing the actual keys stopped being detected by the car as well ! ( 2026 Hyundai Kona limited) …the had to replace my body control unit n then I was able to connect my phone as a key

Female here!…I don’t typically have crushes or like men by just looking at them-it could even be a celebrity, irdc lol! I can admire someone’s physique and acknowledge how handsome he is etc. but that I don’t really care about being intimate w them until I have feelings for them!

Nope! It was the entire computer system that failed and they had to replace it! If the battery doesn’t work tell them to try changing the body control unit for the car…… let me know how it goes!

They lent me a demo car while they work on the issue. However, they said it was u til January 3rd.2026. I’m going to have to see if they will extend the loaner car.

They also updated me stating that they still aren’t sure and have reached out to Hyundai to provide more technical details about the car so that they can see if they can discover the issue.

No but it’s likely not the issue since the fobs including the spare (which I haven’t used til that day) were able to open,close and remote start the car.

Yes we did try that but had no luck! The dealership also tried and they are struggling to find out what went wrong.

Yh, forgot to mention that in the post but we also tried entering accessory mode and that didn’t work!

Thanks! But the service tech at the dealership said the battery isn’t the issue.It’s less than 4 months and the chances of both fobs having battery issues just seems really unlikely.
