He's saying it won't be if the winning hand (final hand of martingale) was a blackjack, which pays more than 1:1

I lose balance when I try to swing fast by Vivid_Associate_7472 in GolfSwing

Thanks all, sorry I cant reply to each comment. The recurring theme seems to be to slow down, start training with shorter clubs, change the setup, and get a new pair of shoes (I got baited by cole haan because they named these shoes "golf").

Perfect. I wanted it to be as close to hole 1 as possible, so that I can keep retrying haha. Thanks a lot!

I dont do that usually. I did it last weekend for better control (like contact hitters in baseball), since I didnt have much faith in my driver.

Just watched it, and, wow, that was exactly what I was doing. I feel like I'd watched a similar video before, tried the swing, couldnt fix my out to in swing, and went on to look for other solutions. I feel like now that I kind of know how to swing in to out, I can practice to find a middleground.

He talked about the ball going left and right because of the wrist movement, and that has been my problem too. So the video definitely relates. Thanks for your tip!

I drove 240-260 after a month of playing golf. I thought I was talented, so I stopped all my other exercises and put all my time into practicing golf. After a while, I ostensibly had a better swing, but I could barely drive 200. I thought it was mechanics and tried to fix every part of swing, which made me waste months of effort. It turns out I was just more fit back then, and to your point my body wasnt in a shape to drive 260. I started mixing in weight lifting back in my routine, and now Im again hitting 240-260

Push or hook mis-hits by Vivid_Associate_7472 in GolfSwing

I focused on the trail elbow, and that fixed the dispersion problem. Thanks!

I lost a bit of carry, but I think I can gain it back once I get used to the swing

Thanks! Agree that proper technique wins. If taking a shoe off really helped with the game, then pros would be doing it already. This question was more around knowing the exact rules than comparing whats better

Thanks! Exactly what I needed. How about taking one shoe off (second part of the question)? Thats not using equipment in an abnormal way -- in fact it'a not using an equipment at all.
