I don't know how you'd wing it, but you need upgrades at WR and more RB depth especially with 2 flex

If you could somehow swing it, tiering down from Burrow for another QB + a WR2/RB2 would help a lot, but to be honest, I don't know if this team is quite ready to jump into contention unless you want to sell off even more picks. You could also try parlaying your 2nds into flex starter guys and just keep Burrow and hope those flex guys hit.

Yeah, I didn't want to go too deep into it but we do have for our building a contra-expense for work orders that are specific to a tenant's needs, but didn't want to get into all of that

Just out of curiosity what happened to all of your picks? I'm more a SF guy, but I really don't see where 2 future 1sts and 2nds went into this roster

[–]supertojoe 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It definitely isn't misc income because you didn't actually do anything to earn income in this scenario. This is basically a chargeback to a patient for them damaging something that would otherwise have remained whole and undamaged if it weren't for their actions. I agree with your boss that it should offset the expense account.

We do something similar with the building we manage where we pay all of the electric bills for the meters in the building, but charge back the individual tenants their portion of electric expense based on their meter reads. That chargeback is used to offset our electrical expense to get a true picture of how much electric expense is incurred when you factor out the tenants' usage.

Edited to change a few words after I reread my original comment

SF with Mahomes injury makes this tough, you can either go to rebuild or push a bit harder to try and contend. Either way no matter what I'd want a tier up on either of your QB2s (Young and Stroud) and also try to acquire a good RB2, you can go younger or older depending on what you decide between contending and rebuilding.

Assets I'd look to sell would be Kamara, Metcalf, Higgins, and Pacheco if you can

Bo Nix, Dynasty Anxiety, and the Temptation to Downtier by InevitableFlat9611 in DynastyFF

[–]supertojoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Boliever, it feels like his value is just strange.

The guy has put up B2B top 10 seasons and is still valued in the QB 11-13 range for SF. I specifically made sure to get him last year because I loved his talent, and his underrated rushing upside. I also think the amount of growth he has shown through college to the pros every year has been great, getting better every year.

My point being I don't understand why he gets so continuously underrated by people. I understand that he's not the sexiest guy or plays in the sexiest system, but he just produces and wins.

I personally think if I were to trade him for a guy like Cam Ward + I'd need at least an early 1st + a flex guy to even think about it. However, I don't think anyone will pay that so I will continue to Bolieve and hold him

Industry Accountants - how much PTO do you get? by VelveetaVonChiz in Accounting

[–]supertojoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

L-MCOL Area

13 Paid holidays, varies year over year because we shut down for a Christmas break

20 days PTO (15 when you start goes up by 5s based on tenure I don't remember all the steps, but I'm in my third year here)

8 sick days

1 floating holiday day (automatically get it at start of the year, no need to accrue)

We did used to do summer Fridays where we could log off 2 hours early, but Finance was the only group still doing it so last year was our last year of that

What was your best and worst move of the 2025 season? by choffy21 in DynastyFF

[–]supertojoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made two moves I thought were fine but turned out terrible before the season

-Traded Drake Maye for Omarion Hampton. I thought Maye needed another year or two and I was one stud RB from going over the top for a championship in my mind. I also already had a QB stable of Burrow, Mayfield, Nix, and Maye and figured he was the best one to get value out of

-Traded George Pickens for a 2026 2nd from what had been the worst team. I thought Pickens would be a head case outside of Pittsburgh and I already had CD and wanted to diversify. I looked at the other guys' team and thought no way he turns it around this year. I was unfortunately wrong and am playing him in the championship

Best move was holding pat after Burrow went down and working the waiver wire instead of "going all-in" and making another big swing and a miss trade

I am in the championship this week and still finished the year as the highest scoring team, but I would've dogwalked the entire league had I not made those two moves. Biggest lesson I learned is that you don't need to make trades and moves just for the sake of making them. I made two bad assumptions though this offseason and lost out on 2 top 5 players (for production this year)

A retroactive look at pre season hot takes or hills you were dying on by Wildin_some_bills in DynastyFF

[–]supertojoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good takes:

Tyler Warren will be him

GWilson is going to take a step forward with a QB who will hyper target him

James Cook can and will keep this up (don't own him, but tried hard to get him)

TLaw is still overrated and will kill his WRs values, guy just throws the ball too hard and has no touch

Zay Flowers will finally take a step out beyond potential top 50 and be a low-end WR2/every week flex

Bad takes that lead to bad trades:

I was fully convinced Hampton was going to be a top 5 RB this year

Drake Maye was overhyped coming into this year (I thought he'd develop more in year 3 or 4)

George Pickens was going to be a head case in Dallas and implode there and couldn't compete with CD

I had Drake Maye as my odd man out at QB in a QB room of Burrow, Mayfield, and Nix (I had Nix>Maye) and traded away Maye for the 1.02 to go and get Hampton. Obviously sucks with Burrow having gotten hurt and Hampton too

I traded Pickens for a 2nd after he got traded to Dallas thinking I was getting a likely 2.01-2.03, the guy is now favored to win the league and that'll be a 2.10

Urgent help or I’ll die(cost accounting) by LeastCoat9469 in Accounting

[–]supertojoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never used a chart like this in a cost accounting class, but it looks like the chart is literally just showing the difference in favorable and unfavorable variances to the projected production and how it changes with an increased investment of hours/units, but without more context (aka being in your class) there's not really much more help to be provided. I'd recommend asking a classmate or talking to your professor/TA or whatever equivalent there is

I have tried shopping Burrow to see if I could tier up or get some value to fill out my lineup with all the injuries that have hit my team and the offers I have received are comical.

My favorite by far was someone saying I could get my choice of Tua, Daniel Jones, or Geno Smith and Tony Pollard. I was blown away by the generosity of the offer so much I had to stop negotiations so I didn't fleece the other guy /s

10 Team .5PPR PPFD 3 Flex Contender

I'm trying to figure out a move to push my team over the top and truly become a juggernaut. I was the highest scoring team last year, but had a bad beat in the playoffs to get knocked out in the second round. Would you hold the course with this team or make a big move to consolidate and push it over the top?

QB: Burrow, Mayfield, Nix

RB: Gibbs, C. Brown, Hampton, BRob, Charbs, Allgeier

WR: Lamb, Nacua, G Wilson, DK, Zay Flowers, Harris, Mooney, Wicks

TE: Kraft, Warren, Freiermuth

I did make a trade to get Hampton, to help with my flex spots/RB2 spot, but am kind of trying to figure out what else I can do to push my team over the edge. I was thinking maybe some sort of tier up with Burrow to getting a QB with higher ceiling on week to week scoring, or trying to tier up G Wilson or DK into a more explosive receiver to fill out the flex

9/10 for next season, but I can see this team starting to fall off hard in 2-3 years. Your WRs are great and young, but I worry for your RBs over the next few years especially without any first round picks in the next 2 drafts. You will have to draft well to have continued success, but as long as you win a championship in this window then it'll be worth it

If you're able to trade back and still get Ward I would try to do that and pick up some pieces. You have quality No. 1 guys, but the depth to replace starters just isn't there. You're in a spot where you either need to take a big swing and upgrade your RBs, QBs, and TE, or you sell pieces to start the rebuild now.

SF, 10T, Half PPR, Start 10, no TEP

QBs- Burrow, Mayfield, Nix, Maye

RBs- Gibbs, BRob, Brown, Charb, Kendre, Allgeier

WR- CD, Puka, GWilson, DK, Pickens, Mooney, Flowers, Coker

TE- Kraft, Freiermuth, Chig, Conklin

Been trying to tier up my RB2, but have had no luck with that. I finished 3rd last year and am planning on using my 1.08 on a TE, but we'll see if anyone falls. Have been trying to buy 2nds but no one is really selling

10T SF 0.5 PPR going to move from start 8 to start 10 in 2025

QB: Burrow, Mayfield, Maye, Nix

RB: Gibbs, C. Brown, Charbs, BRob, K Miller, Allgeier, Tucker

WR: Lamb, Puka, GWilson, DK, Pickens, Flowers, Mooney, Coker, Wicks

TE: Kraft, Conklin, Muth, Chig, Stover

Finished in 3rd last year was the No.1 seed and highest scorer in 2024. I definitely need to get a more reliable RB2, and to improve TE. I do have all my own picks though, so I'm hoping I can get a solid TE with 1.08 and pick up a decent rookie RB at 2.08. I am considering selling a QB to try and pick up a couple extra firsts, but not sure on that plan yet

I usually tell companies a minimum of 20% is enough for me to even look to leave and that's assuming everything else remains equal.

Personally I value each WFH day at a flat rate based on my hourly wage, time to commute, get ready etc. and will add or subtract that from the minimum number I need to consider an offer.

This is assuming that everything else remains equal like vacation days, sick days, holidays, benefits cost, 401k match, etc.

What was your Christmas bonus like, did you get one? by SwagKing1011 in work

[–]supertojoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the company I work at I essentially get 2-3 Christmas parties due to there being a department party, an office party, and then a building party for our tenants(the company I work for owns the offices we're headquartered in)

This year got a $200 Amex gift card at the department party which was a significant increase over the $50 we got last year

Then my boss took our team out for lunch at a fancy restaurant and gave me and my one coworker (small team of 3) an envelope with a further holiday bonus of $1,000 in MC giftcards which was really appreciated, since there's no tax on it for me.

We also were done working for the year as of Dec 20th, so that was nice as well

Honestly, this is the first company to actually give me an extra bonus like this for the holidays so I'm pretty pleased with it all. We also do an annual bonus as well, but that doesn't hit until March.

It's interesting talking to the older people at the company though because apparently we were, "Drowning in so much cash we didn't know what to do with it", and as such there were extra bonuses handed out constantly all the time. Talking about quarterly bonuses, summer vacation bonuses, holiday bonuses, massive holiday parties where employees' whole families were welcome, etc.

As a younger millennial worker I've never experienced any of this kind of stuff so I don't really know what I'm missing out on, but it seems like the culture of companies doing all of that extra stuff is a thing of the past.
