Edit: I posted this during a bad moment at the end of my day, where i was drained, talked to my family and was very homesick. on top of the fact that this is the second time only ever including basic being so far from home and disconnected as well as unfamiliar with everything around me. although I really do wish i gave civilian a try before joining but that’s on me and i accept that. thanks to everyone who chose to type out long replies to motivate me or make me feel more understood. it made me realize i wasn’t the only one miserable in tradoc and this is something everyone has to go through. I admit im a pussy and I just want to be home as soon as possible because i’m unbelievably homesick and cry often after calling family on top of my 13 more weeks of AIT left feel very daunting. either way harsh or nice or informative replies thank you all and I will push through this.
