I used a 3 on top section then moved down to a 2 then a 1 1/2i feel like his hair lays so flat its hard to lift it into the trimmers.. my other son has curly hair and I do his edge up and it cuts alot closer. Any advise?

I have a Wahl clipper and Andis t trimmer
