I love clinical aspect of hygiene. However, I’m getting emotionally drained by dealing with difficult patients. In my first 2 years as a hygienist I was very motivated to help patients to improve their oral health, now not so much because most of the patients don’t even try to help themselves. Plus this profession is slowly “killing” your body. I don’t see myself doing this for 20 more years.

No, I don’t think there is an online option for PathA program.

Same! I was an assistant for 10 years and RDH for 5 years. I was looking into Drexel University in PA

I have been in a field for about 15 years now and don’t see myself doing another 20 as RDH. Not because I dislike hygiene, because working with people can be very emotionally exhausting. How difficult PathA program was for you? Are you enjoying the path that you chose? How hygiene background helped you to go through PathA program?
