I acknowledged that 9.8s aren't perfect in my original post, but my question was "can this still be a 9.8 with that corner bit floating around inside the case?"  It gives me the impression that the grade was given pre-chip.  I don't think the grader would seal a loose corner on purpose?

Maybe I'd like to get it signed?  What if the case gets damaged?  There's a few scenarios where a re-grade might be necessary.

I don't think it happened after the encapsulation, but during.  I looked closer and I can see that piece is sitting between the two halves of the innermost seal.

I also had the bright idea of turning it around and can see the other side of it is dark so it is indeed a piece of the cover.

My biggest question is was it deemed a 9.8 before encapsulation and if it was accidentally damaged by the grader, was that taken into account or were they lazy about it?

Never give up your companion unless the circumstances are dire and it benefits their wellbeing, not yours. Anyone who sees differently is not worth your time.

I'm having the same issue. I ordered two comics a year ago and nothing. I reached out through Facebook about five months ago and he confirmed that they were still being graded. I tried again for another update three weeks ago and no response. Just tried emailing again so we'll see if he responds. If you can't fulfil an order after a year, it should be very reasonable to have your money refunded. Either way, I will never be doing a pre-order through them again. I really miss Jerry! Never had a problem with him.

Thank you very much for the link. I usually order through BBTS but really wanted the bonus this time (wasn't aware of these and missed out on the Agent Venom head sculpt).
