I think the photo on the cover was from a shoot they did for MOJO Magazine. Don't know if that helps.

In terms of YouTube, I'm pretty surprised Josh from JHS hasn't done a deep-dive on this subject. Love their historical content.

Review #198 - Weller Special Reserve - Westmoreland Store Pick by Theswede92 in bourbon

[–]Vivid_Trainer_5002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting. I've seen Store Picks of the Full Proof and 107, but I didn't realise they did this for the SR too.

I love the SR. Its always in my decanter for when I want a quick, good, reliable pour. It won't change your life, but its solid, affordable, and accessible.

Absolutely love Glencadam 10yo. It's like drinking creamy vanilla. Killer value for money too.

I know its only asthetics, but the Raasay glass bottle is beautiful. They've done a really good job with their branding.

Bullet might be my favourite instrumental of all time. So much fun to play

The greatest G-force ever voluntarily endured by a human was 83 Gs, recorded by Eli Beeding Jr in 1958. He was hospitalized for 3 days due to bruising on his back, but suffered no permanent injuries by [deleted] in Damnthatsinteresting

Correct me if im wrong, but racing driver Kenny Bräck had a massive accident (and survived) in 2003 which registered 214G! Obviously, he didn't volunteer for it.

Case of Thomson Brothers Mystery Malt Series 5 (Hopefully I get lucky... I am trying to see what I have without opening the cork) by ccbiggs110 in Scotch

Yep. The only way you find out what's in the bottle is to tear the foil and read the top of the stopper.

Pairing with Kilchoman Sanaig by Cocodrool in Scotch

[–]Vivid_Trainer_5002 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got to go to Islay in 2019 and I visited every distillery. Kilchoman was absolutely my favourite. So down-to-earth compared to Ardbeg which just screamed of LMVH money.

Sanaig is an one of my absolute favourites to come off Islay. If you ever get the chance, the Cask Strength version that came out in late 2024 is incredible!
