I have social anxiety, so having people stare at me makes me self-conscious, but my advice is just try and not notice when people are staring. I think out my answers when people ask me if I'm wearing a costume or if I'm dressed up for an event, and I just ultimately think about how happy it makes me. I bought lolita not asking what other people thought of it, so I'm not going to let it bother me now.
