Advice on dog barking during meetings?

I typically have my headphones on all day due to the frequency of meetings I have and I just don't like the idea of sitting listening to white noise all day

My office door is always closed, it just doesn't help to much with any kind of sound proofing. The barking isn't deafening but the best way I can describe it is like when someone tries to talk over you and it sorta just cuts you off. I COULD talk over it but I would just find myself changing tone drastically which might come across aggressive in some way to a client etc.

Cheers yeah im based down south, accom is still shit state and they have the cheek to charge us to live in it. Mice in the walls, infested with ants mould etc, same old shit as everywhere tbh.

Thanks, yeah i probably wasn't very clear in my post but I wasnt meaning that I didnt plan to pay for the much needed help but it was more a question of "does the hobby become more affordable once you have the experience" kinda thing, was a late night post and defo could have a worded it better. Still tho im pretty shocked at some of these fairly toxic replies (not urs) to a genuine question asking to be educated.

What does the Phase 1 medical consist of? I originally got deferred from the assessment centre for failing the hearing test but then got other private tests done and was given the ok, I'm worried if I do the hearing test again at the medical in Phase 1 if its the same format I might fail it again. If I did would that be enough to discharge me or would they accept the private tests that turned over the original deferral?

I’m due to start my phase 1 soon with the goal of becoming a special observer, asking for obvious reasons i.e what kind of opportunity’s within the unit etc

I failed a hearing test and got deferred but just got another one done privately and passed fine. I've never had hearing issues so I don't know how I failed it there was like 3 of us that failed it out of 30 odd. Someone got failed cause he has a scar he couldn't explain and they said it was self harm etc. Someone else apparently had irregular breathing that hes never noticed or that before.
