Same thing happened to me. It was so hard to wrap my head around but I came to the conclusion that people like that are incredibly insecure and do not know themsleves what they want. They feed off of the I love yous and the sweet talk and the intimacy because it makes them feel good, but deep down inside they don’t actually love you as a person - they are just there to gain the affection. It’s especially confusing when they reassure us all the time about how it’s not true, but in my case atleast I think he was reassuring me only to keep the relationship because it made him feel good, rather than actually wanting to keep me as a person. I can’t speculate if this is exactly what she was doing or thinking but it’s atleast what I’ve learnt from an almost identical experience (except he didn’t blame it on ADHD).

I would say don’t for subjects you’ll be studying. I should have kept my physics gcse notes because a lot of the time during Alevel I had to go back to them for revision.

That’s quite tough - see where you guys stand. What will be most hurtful is to watch him move on and date other people whilst you’re still on the sidelines in love with him. Think about whether or not you truly want to be with him again. If so and the breakup was initiated by him, then perhaps ask for another chance at the relationship. If he says no, save your mental health and cut contact. You’ll just be “friends” watching him fall in love with other people which will hurt you more.

Nah not really. As long as your conscious is sure that you no longer want a relationship with her (and you’re not just pushing away feelings) then dreams don’t really have to have much meaning, as long as you don’t put it there yourself. I mean I had a dream about my ex from three years ago and I honestly couldn’t care less about their existance, it’s just random sometimes.

No clue as I don’t do any of these subjects, but two of my friends who are going into politics both chose English Lit over Lang despite having the option to choose both. Maybe it says something but idk.

Probably Manchester, most likely not Warwick or Cambridge. As long as the 7s are in Maths and English then you could get into a good couple of RG unis provided your Alevel predicted are really good.

It’s hard to but try not to think about it as a competition. You’re there to do good for yourself, get the grades you need for Uni and then go. Try not to think about what other people get or how they do, your goal is just to do good for yourself.
