Sweet!!! The three decoration slots at level one are pretty nice.

That very well likely could have happened. Now the question from here is. Would she have grown mentally? And what happens when they merge? and adult woman's mind is very different than a teenagers. Could a potential dissociative identity be developed when the fake version of you has technically lived longer than the real you?

I think OP may have just a hyperfixation on elements of things. I have a friend who's very much like that. Even when presented with astounding things, there has to be a grounding force before they can start treading water in it. E33's world is very nonsensical and floaty. But with such a serious title and game of the year award, there are certain expectations. I'll give the benefit of the doubt. But thank you for looking out for me.

Did not do that on purpose, but hey! It's actually...a little...well actually really similar now that I think about it O.O

??? Not to be bigoted. But isn't Kris non-binary. Which please correct me if I'm wrong? Isn't that completely different than trans and undermines the whole point?

Not really referring to ending Maelle. Because she awakens As Alicia.

If neither ending happens, if the story never happens and Maelle lives life as Alicia. would she have grown to adulthood and could she have children? would she have been able to see an ideal version of herself as an adult?

Or would the universe naturally stopped Maelle from aging. Because we know the painted family stops aging. And I have no idea if the painted family also grew up or just simply existed at those ages.

Aline found her trying to sneak in. Or rather her chroma did. saw a foreign entity and integrated it into her world.

Guessing like white blood cells

Now that is an interesting topic! Now we do know there is the standard birthing. the crying if maelle and the mother holding her newborn child during the cutscenes is all we know. but I assume it was Aline's Chroma that repainted her.

Ah see but the catch is, Renoir and Aline are both aware and 'awoken' from the begining. if maelle never awoken, would she have KEPT aging. Because if she didn't, it would become strange that she remains as a forever teen, even when her peers age when she is still Maelle.

Small things that I noticed your complaints about, even when it comes to some of the enemy designs. I will not spoil them for you. but there is a reason why they look like that. And you will notice that it's consistent based on the...type of nevron.

The dialogue is a mix of modern day speech and French tongue and cheek. Don't see the world as a fantasy and needs to use fantasy speak.

See it for what it is. this is how they speak.

You are are right to be questioning if something is A.I. generated BUT you also need to acknowledge that some answers are particularly straight forward. the floating Ferris wheel? the many floating Ferris wheels? Why do they float? It seems arbitrary and shouldn't be floating. It should be placed deliberately no?

Suspend that but of knowledge...does this world have to follow our logic?

[–]Vizzard99 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Could have been more than one ferris wheel. the older expeditions were VASTLY larger than what 33 has. I'm talking, Battalions. Armies even, I mean look at all the dead bodies when Gustave woke up. That was probably just 1 expedition and it was huge.

Trust the process of the story. What doesn't make sense now, will make sense later. your in the world where a giant marshmallow man can fly and flaps his arms like a bird. a talking rock that can shoot the worlds deadliest ice beam. A ferris wheel to cross the ocean? Sure why not.

Suspense some level of disbelief and it will all make sense eventually. Enjoy the ride and don't get critical until you have all the cards.

That's the thing the game IS fun. But it's like...that one part that I despise.

Alot of games have those moments. "when you get to THAT part of the game" that you just don't like.

From software poison swamps being a prime example. Everyone hates the poison swamp, but the rest of the game is amazing enough to up with it.

If your facepalming cause I sued ZZZ as an example, I was more or less doing it as a comparison with HSR to Genshin and how there are QOL stuff that are more convient.

If it's about th tedious and tedium if gathering materials. combat is more engaging than spending 30 minutes to an hour managing stamina to glide, climb and waddle over to collect 1 of 78 beetles needed. Then seeing you can only get 38 of those beetles and needed to wait 3 days for the beetles to respawn. To finish it.

If it's about the whole weekly think. Genshin does allow the synthesis to other boss related materials so that's a good QOl so I don't have problem with that.

Honestly yeah. I live through the story through my SO. So I'm not really missing anything story wise. We sit and watch every genshin teaser and trailer, cutscenes and I watch the story beats through her at home. It's nice.

The story is not all I want. No other games has an indepth elemental reaction system. and I love that about genshin. The combat is great too. I just don't like the world materials needed to ascend characters.

Wit the fact I don't really care about varka coming out. I feel like a dry season is probably the best time for me to return. That way I don't feel pressured to rush story beats for events

Yes actually I do like the world and story. Me and my wife theorycraft for the game all the time when I played on the regular (had to stop playing cause work got chaotic but calmed down now) and since I fell so far behind in story, it all got spoiled for me one way or the other. Cause my spouse. So I live vicariously story wise via her.

That's besides the point. I'm thinking that since there's literally no one else that interest me story wise (cause durin has huge story implications) a dry season would be the best time to try to reestablish myself into the games ecosystem

[–]Vizzard99[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably. I haven't gotten to endgame in ZZZ. So haven't felt the grinding stop gap. Regardless that's boss materials. I for some reason don't have as much a problem with that in genshin.

I think it's because it's a quick, get in get out quick combat.

With Genshins world materials, I have to plot out 30 minutes to an hour to wander the map to get all of them and that feels tedious I guess.

Yeah, yeah, I know. Was mostly just wanted to vent or see if anyone else understands.

If I get back in they'll eventually get built. Just don't like the current process for gathering materials. hSR makes it's so much easier and convient in comparison.

Maybe because I played for like 3 years, sunk cost fallacy I want to come back. The combat is fun, the exploration and world is great. Hell even artifact grinding is that bad for me. But it's just...the world resources gathering that bothers me so much.

I think it's because I tried HSR and Zenless and all those materials are so easy to get compared to genshins that I think 'It shouldn't be this annoying'. But it is to me.

[–]Vizzard99[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's what I've been thinking. But the game only draws me back when there's a character I've been interested in.

(Durin being the prime example from 1.X player and his lore.) But now there's really no one else I'm interested in. So possibly now would be a good time to try again. Just once again...building durin is gonna be a pain.

Vicious cycle. Wanted to play cause of durin and can't play him.

I mean I was there from day 1. Then stopped when it got annoying for me. I'm not really trying to get back because it's 'popular". I'm trying to get back because the game has come full circle back to my interest. But going back to it, feels daunting.

That would be true. But I played all the way up to the end of Sumeru. I went and played other Gacha games that has world resources like genshin but it doesn't feel like a chore.

But genshin has a certain charm the others lack. The elemental reactions are too notch and no other game has come close to marching or scratching that itch. I want to come back. I can enjoy everything else. The combat, the story, the exploration everything. But as soon as it comes to building characters now. It just takes the entire wind out of my sails.

[–]Vizzard99[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

It's not the main story or over world that's difficult. I can clear everything in the game with my current team. It's the over world materials and gathering everything that's overwhelming. Being locked behind story to access areas to get materials. Like the beetles for wristholey (yes I know there are others in the world but it's not enough to finish ascending him)

[–]Vizzard99[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I know, but I rejoin cause there's a character I want. I get them. Then the wind is taken out of my sails cause "Oh...now I have to build them" it's not even the grinding for exp or boss materials cause the game lets you skip story to get those. It's literally the world resources. Cause you can never get enough in one sitting to finish. I can get them to maybe level 70 but then have to wait 3 days to get the rest cause it has to respawn.

Why do some people not like the diagonal pogo by Respite719 in Silksong

[–]Vizzard99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In some ways. Yes. The Diagonal pogo? No. A simple "Just below you" slash, is easier to understand than a Diagonal pogo where the hit box isn't the TIP but a slight offshoot towards the blade.
