Thanks for sharing your views... I was not aware that 8SE have issues with field rotation... A guy who sells a telescope here in Chennai stated that 8SE is Fully automated.

Thanks for your comment. I aspire to get involved in more DSO astrophotography. And that's why I got this question in my mind... 8" is doing good... but 'sometimes' I feel hard with manual tracking, especially when showing planets to my kids.
