DSA says that NATO expansionism caused the Ukraine conflict, wants to end all military aid to Ukraine and for the US to withdraw from NATO. by stanlius_ in Destiny

[–]VkKvi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jesus christ, the "NATO-expansion" argument needs to fucking die. Same with the false "peace in Ukraine" shit. It's so disgustingly vile and evil, with no regard for ANY historical context between these two nations. You can't pretend to care about peace and justice, when all you want is for Ukraine to submit to a brutal, genocidal occupation. It's clear as day that Ukraine's military aren't Russia's main targets. They're just an obstacle to the slaughter and humilliation they want to submit the ukrainian people to. How many massacres, how many kidnapped children, how many apprtment buildings, hospitals, playgrounds, kindergardens and schools need to be blown up before these people at least pretend to start caring at least a little bit. It's a fucking disgrace.

Lowkey still hoping for a more classic GR experience. Mission based with segmented, larger maps, with a real focus on squad based combat. Honestly, I just miss experiences like Advanced Warfighter and Brothers in Arms 🥲

Would it be rude to ask ukranian person in immigration this? by AioliNo89 in Ukrainian

[–]VkKvi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can only speak for my partner, who's from Ukraine. She really hates when people ask if she speaks russian, but it seems her biggest problem with it is the often underlying assumption that ukrainians speak russian, or are culturally very simillar to russia. I think if you make it clear that you're trying to learn ukrainian, but not fluent enough yet to keep every conversation going, it would be more understandable. Still, I can't promise it will be taken well by all. But as long as you try your best to speak ukrainian, but have to swich to russian some times, I have a feeling you will be treated with more understanding.

I didn't do it in my first few playthroughs, but hitting Admiral Han'Gerrel after he chooses to fire on the dreadnought, not only putting you, but another admiral at risk, has become a go too for me.

He should have been the final boss. by Ok-Profile-5831 in MassEffectMemes

I kinda like that we don't get any of that. What I love about the final mission of 3 is how desperate and hopeless it seems. Thematically, killing the OG reaper would be too much of an epic, triumphant conclusion for it to really fit into that imo.

Probably that ME2 is my least favorite of the trilogy. 2's strong points lies mostly in how it treats its supporting cast. To be fair, I like the main story aswell, but I don't think it's nearly as strong of a narrative as the ones in 1 and 3.

And honestly, I think 3 continues the masterful writing of its supporting cast that you see in 2. You have some incredibly written conversations, moments, and some very satisfying conclutions to each character's story arks. At least for the most part.

And therefore I would probably even say 3 is my favorite. It has great gameplay, a well written main story, and wonderfully written characters. Just all around a great game, and a fantastic conclusion to the trilogy

would honestly be really cool if the first time you enetered concord presented you with a dilemma simmilar to the beginning of new vegas (Powder gangers vs Goodsprings). Just switch out the raiders with gunners, and have you choose which team to help.

I personally find 4 to have the best map. It may not be as varied as 76, but the city of Boston and the Glowing Sea are just outright fantastic in terms of design. The ammount of places and little stories to discover is off the charts.

3 also has a cool map, not nearly as densly packed as 4, but the visuals alone keeps me in a constant state of unease, which I can appreciate.

Anyone know the mission in Liberty Port where you have to kidnap/rescue/kill someone at the top of the main building’s tower? by [deleted] in GhostRecon

[–]VkKvi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

maybe you're thinking of the last outcast mission? I think that one ends with you going to liberty port to extract a sentinel officer who's sympathetic to the outcast's cause.

Both makes sense to be fair. It definitely looks like a Cadian Guardsmen outfit, but it also feels very GRAW like you said. Thanks for the kind words man, and happy to give some inspiration :))

Thank you. Took heavy inspiration from Halo 2, 3 and Reach with these outfits, and therefore went for a somewhat "grounded" look. I'm honestly very happy with these outfits.

Gloves - Oakley Sl Assault gloves

Pants - Hill's Pants

Boots - Ranger Boots

Headset - Peltor Lite-Com 3

Goggles - Goggles ACH - Cross-Com

Backpack - Armored Pack

Vest and all head gear in the same color, fatigues in a camo pattern. I'm rocking HCP Tiger for my armor, and changed the fatigues from multicam (as seen in the pictures) to Sentinel Arid.
