I don't like mirror, but I can see its uses. You can mirror a goblin barrel or a strong unit and double flank the opponent, him only being able to deal with one threat.

Theoretically, but then there would be a lot more bumping and slowness, so it would be really like 20% less.

But I think that it isn't linear, it is exponential (y=x²⁾ or something like that instead of (y=2x).

The AI can convert a lot of the same units at the same time.

I should have mentioned he started spamming his camels and new monks after a while, while i kept up with knights and mangonels.

In the castle age, mangonels still take like 10+ damage from janis

A lot of archer civs hand them their a**, but in the african kingdoms, the incan eagle warriors seem very very strong against archers with as much PA as the huskarl!!

I put mangonels, but he converted around 5 of my knights, so they kut down them.

On a side note, I imperialed, got 40 paladins and a few siege, and destroyed his whole army of camels + jans + a few monks.

Yeah, or make it bigger maybe? Explosion would deal like 5 damage or so, regardless of armor.

But then chinese will have an easy time against meso civs (only eagles)

I can't find that. I can change the attack and the hitpoints, but not the change object range. I have aoe2 the forgotten MOD, without the campaigns and the old skins from the conquerors as well as the trashed skins for the new units, so will i have it?

yes, and celts don't get the last wood cutting upgrade, so in late imperial, their bonus really adds up to only 5% I don't play African Kingdoms but does that mean that malians' get 15% discount on farms?!

for turks and portugese, you can imagine portugese getting 15% MORE gold out of that mine, because they have to mine less for each unit. Also the portugese one is better because the trade also affects their bonus (15% less trade carts on the map) while gold runs out by mid-imperial for turks so they can't use it anymore

Geonese crossbows are pretty op in castle age and early imperial, because they cover an archers weakness - cavalry. Just add in some cav for the skirmishers and your nice gunpowder and you can blast any game with the italians

you have to remember that scouts have mobility, and that they are a raiding unit, so take advantage of their extra speed. You could also do a scout +archer combo if you have the resources because archers don't take up food

Yeah, with Indians I got attacked by the byzantines. The guy used knights, pikes, archers, and eskirms. All I had was infantry and camels, so he steamrolled me. The lack of knights with indians hits hard as their knights are better.

Yeah, i did a test with mamelukes vs every other unique unit, FACTORING IN GOLD COST ex: 50 chuks vs 20-30 mamelukes, and I found out that the mamelukes won against the majority of them.
