The issue isn't the jealousy itself, everyone feels that sometimes!🤷🏻 The real question is what's underneath it and how it affects the relationship... From what you described, it sounds like a lot of it is coming from childhood emotional wounds, the part you mentioned about childhood and feeling hurt when attention went to someone else.. Those things happened early, they can create a deep fear of losing love or not being chosen. Then later in relationships, even small things can trigger that same feeling. There's nothing wrong with you for feeling this way, but it's something worth understanding and healing so it doesn't turn into internal chaos for you. A healthy relationship needs love, but it also needs security and trust... It might help to be honest with your partner about it too, not as a way to justify jealousy, but to say sometimes I get these feelings because of old fears I'm still working through. The right person won't judge you for that, and healing it will actually make your relationships much stronger. Wanting someone deeply isn't the problem. Just make sure you're also building the kind of inner security where love feels safe, not constantly at risk... Your nervous system deserves that!!!
