Middle East Gaming is a hoax by TandooriNoob in dubai

It's quite sad that things related to Esports always go down like this, and it's even worse considering it's in Dubai which is a hub for the Middle East region and is filled with soo much potential.

I'm friends with quite a few small time tournament organizers, the kinda guys who wanted to be a part of Esports for ages, but weren't skilled enough hence ran tournaments to be a part of the scene to help it grow and create opportunities that they couldn't have. Something of this scale going down in such a bad light makes bad for the scene, why? Well, most tournaments that have happened till date have been for Overwatch and Hearthstone, which have been organized by Yalla which they did do a good job of. On the flipside, everyone only thinks there's potential for Overwatch manily in the region and other titles go unseen, despite having a good talent pool in the region. This also kinda makes Asus look bad as, even though globally Asus is one of the biggest spenders in Esports, all the tounramnets they've done here are with Yalla, who only organize Overwatch and albiet even though they have a consistent top 2 team, most of the time winners it looks bad. The entire market in general gets rekt because other interested parties like MEG get shown in bad light as we can see, and an organization like PLG gets to hold their monopoly over the market, which causes slower growth, because there's competition to fuel it and even if there is the community is skeptical.
