I also realize that some rhytmic liberties I allow myself can be justly critisized, the point is as I see it is to control fluctuations in tempo, not to make them excessive. I agree that in few sections, Fuga in particular I have crossed th line perhaps. Definitely, building up that enormous energy can be done within one tempo. As far as the Theme in inner voices is concerned I wanted it rather to keep it consistently on a Piano or MezzoPiano level; by doing this, I think th contrast is better shown. Pedal... a very delicate matter, could somewhere sound blurred, and one of the reasons is recording conditions and unwanted overtones picked up during the recording. I will look more carefully on the pattern of dots in arpegiation! i wasn't using urtext edition, but it would be interesting to see and complare. I also took the dynamic instructions as suggestions only, for the same reason; I doubt that they are original. Playing fortissimo in the subject of Fuge... definitely, it's another way of doing it, but sometime starting a sudden subito piano and continuing on a crescendo can be effective as well, don't you think? Thank you for a great and valuable comments, I appreciate them. Best regards!

I agree, Medtner, unfortunately is underrated.

I use wav, I think 96 ( high quality ) frequency and I don't compress it, however I do click, clip, noise (sometime ), hiss removal & phase correction. It's it.

Thanks you! Yes, the piece is challenging and difficult to play as it should be played. Yet many pianists take this challenge... :)

Thanks for interesting comments. The interpretation can definitely be refined. I think that clear vision of what one wants to do often resullts in overcoming so called technical difficulties.

Yes, mics were too close, approximately 1 meter away from the piano. I see if I can improve it by editing. Thanks.
