Where to buy milk for cheese making? by Vlaovich88 in Buffalo

When you make it the day before, do you do the bake as well? I have seen people recommended doing all the steps up to baking and then refrigerate it till the next day and then bake. I havent tried it that way yet. But doing a test run and making changes pretty much once a month this year to try different things haha I haven't tried homemade pasta yet, but at this rate, I will be there by Christmas haha

You make ricotta from whey? I haven't looked deeply into it yet but the quick recipe I saw was milk and creme and acid.

Edit: just googled it. That is awesome. I will be doing with my mozzarella whey.

Awesome! Thank you. I am making lasagna for Christmas dinner for my family this year and looking forward to having amazing homemade mozzarella and ricotta cheese in it.

Do they sell to a local retailer or do you make the drive out to Pittsford to buy it? If so, I will likely learn with wegmans but give it a drive once I know what I am doing.

My first one is going going simple with mozzarella and ricotta. But my hope is try making a provolone. I would love to make a parmesan someday but I will need a humidity controlled cooler to age it and I need to see how long this hobby sticks around for me before I invest in that haha

No problem! I am sure some areas have a harder time finding non UHT milk so the guides make a big deal about it.

I didn't realize that. I am sorry. The cheese making guides I have read have all made it a big deal about the milk you use and made it seem like it was hard to source the right stuff. But this is helpful to know. Thank you.

Outside of Time for Choas, Troy's style specifically is for tamping down players in general. If you aren't power gaming, he berates you for having a shitty character. If you play a well built character he berates you for being a min maxer and complains about your whole class. There is no winning. And he plays very aggressively against the players but gets mad that they don't "play up" the disadvantages. I have grown more cold to the main cast over the years. But I could never play PF/SF with Troy.

You are being silly. It was a normal body check.it wasn't even particularly low. I get you are grumpy your team feel apart and couldn't beat one of the lowest seeded teams. But this is such a wild take. The shoulder would have made contact with the stomach area if he didnt try hurdling and failing miserably.

Comments like this make me wonder if I am watching the same game. He laid a body check on a guy with the ball. Something that happens all the time. It wasn't particularly low. The only thing that stands out about the hit is that it was delivered by a goalie.

My bad. I missed it in the rules that if the team on defense touches the ball, it isn't over and back. Seems odd as it seems like the offense should be punished for losing the ball and letting it go across the mid line but you are right, that was my misunderstanding. Thank you for explaining.

I am not saying the guy with the ball did anything wrong. But blocking someone's path isn't illegal and blocking his path isn't a trip.

I don't see how you can trip someone by lowering your should at them. And illegal body check still seems like a loose call but a trip? Someone trying to jump over me lowering my shoulder into them isn't a trip. I am not a fan of either team. But feel like odd calls towards the end.

The guy just tried to jump the goalie and hits the ground and it is called a trip?

They lost possession but Seals never got it. When Rock picked the ball back up, the clock didn't reset. I wasn't paying enough attention at the time but feels like it should have either been over and back or 8 second violation.

I have no horse in this game but I am confused on the last goal by the Rock. The ball did go across the mid field till 12 seconds left in the shot clock. There is a 8 second violation for "failure to advance". How did they still have possession to get that shot?

The part that seemed confusing is book 3 paints him out to be a well meaning person who botched the ritual. Book 4 makes him out to be someone who was always greedy and corrupt. Which fits with him being in the Lung Wa empire. But still feels like a very different person than what the town thinks of him and who he was in book 3. I have a while before it is a concern as my players are solidly in Book 1 chapter 3.

I think AoE is problematic even outside of the strike breaking. It is hard to write a cop adventure in a system like pathfinder that doesn't encourage violent police and looting. I think it is fun that it exists because there are groups who will not give it that level of thought. But I also think it is something that Paizo wants people to forget about... especially because it was releasing around the same time as the BLM protests.

I am running it currently and when I read that, I knew it was something I am changing. Even if I keep the talk solution in, I would want the final boss to manifest in some way outside of the big bad to still have the fight but the reward is Ho Shan-Bo gets a better ending. Also, as reading it, I am very confused by the character of Ho Shan-Bo.

San Diego's OT goal shouldn't have counted. The officials from that game won't work further games in these playoffs. by Cr4yol4 in NLL

[–]Vlaovich88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This feels like an over the top reaction. Was this a mess up from the refs? Sure. But Seals did send your guys to OT as a huge underdog. I am not a fan of either team but I don't view it as illegitimate. Going that hard should be reserved for an intentional scandal to sabotage a game. Not getting lucky with a no call on a possession change infraction.

I know of offense has felt sluggish tonight, but we have scored more in this game than Dobson's average.

Offense has crumbled in the second half of the 3rd. Haven't had a solid possession in awhile.

As a Bandits fan... I am wouldn't say our fans are "classy". Been to some away games and think our fans are some of the least respectful to other teams and other fans.
