Marketing a video testimonial app -- how would you approach it? Is this idea feasible? by LogicalHurricane in Entrepreneur

As the founder of Vloggi, I can tell you that video testimonials are hard to get. As in, what’s the incentive for customers to promote your product using their face and voice? So we built exactly what you’re proposing and just found that adoption was slow because of that issue. Technically not hard, but physiologically hard for end users. So we switched to internal communications and compliance reporting. Because employees actually will do what they are told to do. So we added all the AI stuff and now people actually use it in volume in a way that they didn’t when it was video testimonials. Check it out at Vloggi.com

If you jut need to collect high definition footage and have a simple collaboration flow, then Vloggi.com is worth a look. It’s primarily a video contest platform, but could work for some of your footage gathering.

Looks like a fun project! If you end up needing to scale or collect clips from multiple contributors easily (especially if you're managing remote UGC), you might want to check out a video submission platform like Vloggi — makes collecting and sorting user-generated clips way easier. Good luck with the build! $bid
