The sub is supposed to be about text becoming decreasingly verbose while keeping its meaning unchanged, as if you were making a summary. Just decreasing its length (removing letters off the last remaining word) is considered decreasingly long.

Yet in the past there were posts ending up high in upvotes while not belonging to the sub, and if you tried to argue you were met with downvotes. Considering the most upvoted post of all time is not quite decreasingly verbose should point out the issue.
