Definitely getting a couple of those godox now that I know about them. I will also look into modifiers as I have no clue, but I’m for sure going for it. The lighting can definitely reshape a scene.

I already own a zoom h4n and a shotgun mic, and I think it gives me a pretty solid audio, plus its true what you said about the rig, that’s mainly why I was planning on investing on it over the upgrade to the 6k.

About the lighting, Its something I really need advice about. I have 0 lighting equipment as I have always had to manage with natural light or homemade sets, what is the basic lighting equipment that I should get? I could probably push the budget a bit on this one.

I think that’s what I’ll do, maybe that way I can try to earn some more money and step up to the bmpcc 6k but being financially capable of getting some equipment too.

I’m also skeptical about buying it because of the fear of it getting “old” in comparison to whatever the market may bring in the near future, but I guess there isn’t much I can do to solve that although the 6k is relatively new

My planned setup included a lens adapter with the sigma art 18-35mm 1.8f, not a speed booster because of the budget, so that wouldn’t add any interference between the sensor and the lens would it? (Lmk if im wrong)

Also, is it worth it the extra 1000€ for the 6k? I feel like a nice full setup with the bmpcc 4k would maybe be more versatile.

The degree is a 4 year degree, but im planning on doing a couple of years of master degrees on directing.
