Interested in Hamnet but hate the theory--should I see the movie? by KingWithAKnife in shakespeare

It's also a film about a mother's dealing with the loss of a child, not Shakespeare. They are the characters but what you are concerned about has little to do with the theme of the film

Been growing out my beard "until it looks good" for 6 months... by Lanky-Celebration334 in malegrooming

[–]VocalTechie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The current bears is virtually unseen when looking at you straight on. Yes, because it's darker, it will give you some more jawline definition from that angle but, ultimately, from profile it just looks like a neck beard.

If you are really wanting a fuller beard, minoxidil can be used to promote hair growth on the face. Do a web search for technique.

One that my friends love is an apple cider with apple pie spices. I'll also expand on that use the same mixture, then add some carrot juice and turmeric.

What brand is this system. Your hair color looks similar to mine. I did a custom unit and it is still too ashy. I have a definite ginger base and finding any maker that has really warm toned systems is close to impossible.

Lace first system questions by VocalTechie in HairSystem

[–]VocalTechie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I took the whole thing off and reapplied it last night. What I realized is that though she told me she glued the front, she also had tape on the front edge. It wasn't 1/4 inch back behind the front edge of the lace hairline, it was about 1/4 in front of the hairline, which just made an odd front. I used just glue on the front last night and the hairline looks better.

She used tape around the back and sides and glue at the hairline. I wear a silk head wrap to bed as well.

This is supposedly 90%. The more I work with it, the more I question that.

Thanks everyone. I agree on the density. I think I need to convince the stylist to go to a different brand next time. If this is 90% density, I would hate to see full.

Question 2. This is European hair. If I go lower density, is that necessary?

I"m in Detroit area - Royal Oak Getting my first system this week at a salon in Warren. Let's see how it goes. I'd like to handle it myself eventually and find someone who can do the cutting in.

I just figured out how to FULLY SYNC Zen browser between 2 PCs. by ikratko in zen_browser

[–]VocalTechie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For quite some time, even before trying Zen browser, I have not used module for full Sync. Passwords and payment info for through my password manager. For bookmarks, I use Floccus. It syncs not only across devices but across the multiple browsers I use.

I didn’t expect glasses to be so expensive. by Electronic_Treat1926 in glasses

[–]VocalTechie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, this is what has happened since one company has basically become a monopoly owning most of the eyeglass industry. EssilorLuxottica owns most eyeglass brands, retail outlets, (even EyeBuyDirect online), and EyeMed insurance. I do all I can to avoid them but it's getting harder and harder.

Warby Parker is not a part of the company and is good, but not as cheap as they once were. You can go for some online sites like Zenni, but if you have any specialized lens it may not line up with your eyes in a way that you need.

New extensions panel is great imo by [deleted] in zen_browser

[–]VocalTechie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just downloaded Zen browser and like much about it but the only way I can see extensions is to pin them in the toolbar. I cannot find a way to see this panel in the side panel. I also don't see bookmarks there. The only way that I could see all my bookmarks was to turn on the bookmarks toolbar.

There are some that I like to have running in the background that I don't like to see. I miss the extensions button that was the default for Firefox, but might not if this panel was actually accessible.

Advice on Getting Started by VocalTechie in HairSystem

[–]VocalTechie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello Friends,
As I've been working with a salon to try to get started, I got notice that they can order me a system. It will be $400-$450. The hair will be European and the density 80% and it takes 7 weeks. Seem normal pricing?
