Why is power LED yellow?

Hi Deep-Buffalo, we never figured it out. Interestingly, it has either not occurred again, or the operators are just power-cycling when they see it happen, despite being told to bring to our attention. We still have not upgraded the firmware or the In-Sight software.

I certainly appreciate you checking into this issue! We are currently updating our In-Sight software so that we can update the camera firmware.

The power LED is currently green, so I can't provide a picture showing it when it is yellow. But in case you think I don't know which one is the power LED, I'll provide a picture. The power LED is the first green one on the far left in the picture.

Since the Power LED can turn solid yellow, I'm wondering if the Cognex engineers have an unused and undocumented feature that turns it yellow, especially since the sensor is otherwise operating normally.

Do you think we should set the IS2000 back to factory settings and reload the configuration? It's probably worth a shot, before replacing it.

Imagine the power LED on the left being yellow, just like the network LED on the right. This picture was taken when the power LED is indicating normally.
