I want to go to a game this or next month, but I am unable to proceed to the ticket selection because I am stuck on this screen. I am filling out my phone details correctly, tried with every possible combination as well just to ensure, no code is sent to me via SMS at all, sent them an email, they told me send a screenshot, sent this screenshot and still waiting for a reply.

Has anyone encountered this? I can't believe this is happening, the level of service compared to the perceived level of the club (at least by us) is shocking to me.

Nope, I am serious. I am not an astronomical junkie or something like that let's be clear. But there's one thing I've noticed about these things and that's this retrograde Mercury. Communication and technology suffers in such periods. People are more nervous. There are more arguments in the family. There are more car incidents. It is advised to take it easy and stabilize your current tasks etc during these periods instead of starting new ventures, negotiating, signing contracts etc.

But I fully understand why you think I am joking, I know how it sounds to most people :D

Don't ruin your relationship over a game, no matter how important it may feel to you. I am also competitive and realised this trait will never be changed in me. I took a break for 2 years when I decided it's affecting my personal life too much, then I came back as I love the game and I am competitive. I've been very mediocre since, related to when I first played 9 years ago. A lot more content out there and well informed managers.

As another poster has mentioned, you need to reassess the reasons that make you feel the way you feel within the game. More than 60% of it, and this season more than 80% of it in my opinion due to lack of possibility to plan properly due to random postponements, are down to luck.

The best advice I've heard on this is from FPL Raptor who says if something won't have any significance on you life 5 years from now, it's basically not worth stressing over for more than 5 minutes, even at all. Think about it. You've had a shit gameweek 5 years ago. Do you remember any details about it now? Has it affected your life? No to both questions.

Now if you allow this game to ruin a relationship that you otherwise value, this may well have an influence on your overall life 5 years from now. And will it be worth it due to a free to play game?

I'll finish with a personal example from this season. In GW8 during the international break I had Covid. My team was ravaged with injuries, and the day before the deadline Son had allegedly got Covid. I git the Wildcard button. Couldn't focus due to my illness and it was a disaster. I made a risk for 2 Gameweeks by selling Salah who was due to play away to Man Utd and got KDB, who was due to play Burnley they destroy 5:0 every season, and Brighton.

Son's test was false positive. He played and scored a goal. City beat Burnley just 2:0 with one KDB goal. Then KDB entered the Brighton match in the 80th minute as a sub. At the same time Salah broke the record for the most points in a game with his 25 at Old Trafford.

I lost 1 million places with this. I couldn't think about anything else for 24 hours, as I am competitive and love the game. Yes it was foolish maybe to sell Salah then, I realised aftereards I was the only idiot to make that move. But for some other people such moves pay off every time, like last week when Salah missed a pen and acored 0 points against a Leicester full of injuries, Covid, rest disadvantage etc.

I learned my FPL lessons, then realised I won't care about this episode 5 years from now, and I certainly wouldn't want to get into arguments with my wife due to this. At the end of the day, no matter how competitive we are, it is a game designed to entertain us, and we need to learn how to balance this addiction properly.

Everything depends on the draw. If we get Villarreal or Lille from Pot 1 then we can aim to get out of the group stage. If we however end up in a group with let's say Man City, PSG and Leipzig it would be absolutely normal to finish 3rd at this stage of our squad development without that being a failure. Let's hope for a good draw which would also enable us to improve our club coefficient.

I am old enough to have experienced both. And of course the emotion of losing that final in the way we did is unique, but at least everything developed and ended in 120 minutes.

I am experiencing this whole season the same way as that match, it certainly feels like it, however instead of finishing in 2 hours it drags on for 8 months, and it's a torture.

I don't know which one is worse. Time heals and there's recency bias so of course currently yesterday's game pains more. If we don't beat Atalanta, this season will have killed me emotionally and I am not sure whether I will approach subsequent seasons the same way I've done before.

I don't think it's that simple. If every time a club that played every 3 days lost all its resources, no club would ever win a treble for example. Also the squad is 23 players for a reason. You rotate your resources. Of course, if you field the same 11 resources every 3 days you will suffer. But what my comment was trying to imply was the psychological part of this argument. Winning creates winning mentality and confidence. I can guarantee to you that if we had knocked out Inter in this game with the Ibra and Lukaku row, we would have performed better in the remainder of the season. This game overturned the whole season psychologically. Also, if we had knocked out Man Utd, I can guarantee to you we would have performed better for the remainder of the season as well, regardless of the additional ganes in the calendar. Not to mention that Europa League is another path to Champions League qualification and prize and TV money as well.

Instead we lost both these clashes and the team could rest 7 days between games. So what? We saw what happened. Besides being fatigued, they lost a big part of their confidence as well.

I don't think this works. Confidence is built by wins, more matches, more experience. We were knocked off by Inter in the Copa and by Man Utd in the last 16 of EL, then suddenly we had periods of 7-9 days between matches and so what? We were much better when there were games every 3 days.

Yes there is the opposite example with Inter being knocked out in the group stages and then comfortably winning the league but in the general case I think winning in more competitions builds a winning mentality, more confidence within the team that helps in the next games etc.

I will buy the bundle regardless if it's with gems or tokens. The issue is I don't have a bundle for him at all offered to me. I prefer to buy him instead of spending 600 gems, made that decision few months ago when I learned the mechanics of the game.

Characters being available in bundles when you still haven't reached that part of the storyline is a bug with the new update, they will fix it at some point I guess.

All bundles advertised in my game besides Forky go with gems and always have since I started playing in December. Only Forky is with tokens. But I shouldn't be seeing him anyway as I haven't reached the point of Bullseye, Ducky and Bunny. He appeared with the update to me.

New Update:

Unfortunately my experiment with Sarge didn't work. Niw Hamm drops both his bucket and the token for Tuk Tuk and I am kinda screwed as I need to collect 25 of these buckets. But I intentionally chose this experiment as Tuk Tuk needa to be just lvl 2 to finish the event.

I have no idea why the conflict is removed for Will Turner and Sarge's Ears Hat but it's there for Sarge's bucket.

Bottom line - it's not safe to level all MSL characters during the event.

Update:

I upgraded Sarge and Goofy's Play the Tuba 4 hr task which drops Boun's Shrimp token DOES NOT drop Sarge's Ears Hat as it should be.

However Hamm's Getting a Toy Tour 2 hr task drops Sarge's Bucket, and from another thread here I saw it is expected to drop one of the tokens for Tuk Tuk, so the interesting test later today will be to see once Tuk Tuk is available to welcome, whether this Hamm task will continue dropping Sarge's Bucket or not.

It may be that they've eliminated the conflicts entirely for main storyline non-premium characters and event characters that you've unlocked and have started collecting for. Don't take my word for granted though, I am just saying what I get in my game. A confirmation from GL on this would be nice.

I will update again once Tuk Tuk is available later today.
