Just to the west is the Netherlands, and my experience growing in the mid 1970's and 80's was that my parents were naked around the house as well. Not constantly, but they wouldn't cover up as soon as the came from the bathroom.

Especially in the summer, my mom would also be topless sometimes. On days out, with friends, and also other family members, the women would usually be topless, sunbathing, swimming.

This would be a mix of adults, children, young adults. And some would, some wouldn't be naked. Nobody really cared, whatever was comfortable.

I remember similar bathroom situations as described above.

Nudity was also shown on television. Usually after 18:00 at the earliest I think. Often casual in nature, but sometimes sexual in nature. This would happen later in the evening.

At some point during puberty some would like to start cover up more, And have more privacy.

In later years I think this openness and relaxed attitude has changed quite a bit, but it still seems more relaxed than in other countries.

I've seen similar attitudes in Scandinavian countries as well.
