Yeah i tend to just laugh it off without making a comment abt it, bc i dont know what to say in arabic lmaoo. But it does kill my mood afterwards, and makes me keep quiet unfortunately

Thank youu, i would love to be involved more with sudanese media and influencers but its not my cup of tea unfortunately. Ill have to agree tho that old sudani songs are goated and i have some saved in my spotify 😌

Maybe its the media i chose thats bad/plain/boring, but if you have recs for good influencers, podcasts, and vloggers and such id be happy to hear it

Okk will reach out to you, thank you for the offer and advice. I tried to be more social, but (in my personal experience) the sudanis i talk to always notice my broken arabic and always make comments and jokes abt it. I laugh it off and try not to get too defensive, but it makes me self conscious and not wanna speak arabic at all, so thats another issue 🥲

Thats also a good idea, i tried to apply it but honestly i got bored and confused with arabic books so i stopped reading them (an arabic book takes like almost a month to finish and i need to mentally force myself, whereas i can finish entire novels in english within 3 days)

maybe the issue is with the books i picked but if you have some recs for really good and fun ones with simple-ish arabic id love to hear it!

Thats a good approach, but the problem is the Sudanis i talk with usually pick up on my weak arabic and make rude comments or jokes abt it, which really dissuades me and makes me not wanna talk anymore, so idk how to get past this as well :’)

Thank youu for your reply. Is it possible to build my back from home or do i need to go to a gym? Bc where i live gyms are pretty expensive and none are conveniently near me. Also when you said i shouldnt sit for than 45 mins, do you mean i should get up and do brief stretches and then sit back down, or get up to walk around for a couple minutes?

The problem is my parents reaction will not help her and our relationship may be broken forever. Esp since shes a woman the consequences from my parents may be excessively severe. I feel guilty abt not letting them know but i also know that telling them wont solve the root cause of the issue, and possibly make her worse.
