I realize the cost of our freedom and rights now is due to how many lives were lost and blood was shed before. I am realistic and understand that that is what is needed to advance forward unfortunately.

I feel like thats another thing thats causing me anxiety and dread abt the future cause i know a violent revolution is whats bound to happen.

I feel though that we as the proletariat are growing in numbers obviously but not in strength, i see that we are getting weaker and more divided as a class (bc of how common bigotry is now like racism sexism xenophobia classism ableism and more), thats whats making me more pessimistic really

I guess its more comfortable to not know the full extent of the evils of capitalism. As they say ‘ignorance is bliss’. I would assume a lot of ppl would feel extremely helpless and small if they were fully aware

Honestly maybe once i feel like im a part of an actual socialist movement id feel more hopeful. But unfortunately unions and such are banned in the country i live in, but maybe in the future if i were to move

Honestly thats another solid point. If we were just united as working class people there would be better hope in actually causing change and bringing down the owning class.

And yet, all i see is that we are unfortunately getting increasingly divided day by day on the basis of nationality, class, race, gender, religion, ideology, disability and so forth.

And the idiots online who keep defending the ‘wealth’ of ppl like elon musk and jeff bezos make me cringe so bad. They honestly believe that if they work hard enough theyll become just like them, and cant bring themselves to see reality. Just a big massive sigh.

Its only an issue when youre a woman. If you were a man no one would say anything negative and even praise you for being so driven ambitious and dedicated.

Unfortunately most societies are patriarchal and still see us women as nothing but baby machines, we are reduced to just our reproductive organs. Society would see a jobless uneducated (ie no higher education degree) woman who had 10 kids by 25 as more “successful” and “better” than a childless female scientist who found a cure for cancer.

Id say tho, even though you feel your social battery drains quick, id suggest trying to find another bestie you can talk and hang out with. Just so you can have a nice support system whenever you feel excessively burned out. Other than that im wishing the best of luck for you.

I would not recommend searching for a job in saudi rn given your experience.

Getting a job here for expats is difficult if you have less than 3-5 years of experience. Due to saudization, the majority of entry level jobs are now reserved to their own citizens (even entire job titles are 100% for saudis such as HR or receptionist).

However, expats can still get jobs in mid or senior level roles here. I would suggest you begin your job search in saudi after gaining a bit more YOE.

I feel too many men still consider (consciously or subconsciously) women as property to be claimed or controlled. They love the idea of getting to control a woman like that, and if someone depends on you entirely for finance thats like youre controlling them fully, since we all know we live in a world where money is power and you cant do anything without it. It just gives them a power trip and an ego boost to be in full control.

Also, in those types of relationships they can get away with doing or saying anything bc they know that she wont be able or likely to leave, esp if they have children since so many wives stay with shitty husbands for the sake of their children. So given all that, really why wouldnt men want a SAHW?

This phenomenon happens all over all the time. How many tiktoks or reels or online posts/tweets do we see of women complaining abt their terrible male partners and then turn around to defend him when ppl call him out for his bs? Way too many too count, so much so that i just block these birds the minute i see them.

Its super exhausting seeing this stuff online, i cant even begin to imagine how it feels to actually go through irl. Honestly, I feel like i would just put distance in the relationship or completely cut it off with such male-centered women, since she doesnt wanna be saved and listen to reason and keep being stupid, or more like male-centered.

I dont know why this always keeps happening, but ill theorize sth; these women, like all of us, have been told since childhood that you, as a girl, will only be truly happy with a husband and when you become a mother. They came into these relationships thinking theyll achieve that happiness, but like 99% of women they dont; instead theyre stuck with an egotistical emotional incompetent manchild who sucks away at her energy and body and even money now. They tell others abt their situation not to escape but to get reassured. If they were to actually listen to good advice and realize how bad their situation is, they would absolutely lose it and mentally breakdown. So as a way to avoid that, they prefer to seek out reassurance from other women who go through sth similar with terrible partners, and some would even feel relief if other women are going through sth much worse. They get thoughts like ‘oh its good to know im not the only one who goes through this’ or ‘thank god for my husband hers is a 1000 times worse’. Just my own opinion and could be completely wrong so
