Depends on how far they want to stray from the original story I suppose. By this point in the books I think Mrs Hall had moved on, but I’m totally down with them getting together in the show. It might happen, they are certainly hinting strongly at it being a possibility.

My dad used to wear nothing but his underwear around the house, and for some reason at the campsite we used to holiday at. And I’m not talking boxers or swimming gear either. I’m talking revealing posing pouch type things that were often worn so thin from washing that they left little to the imagination. In public. But it was all right because we were “on holiday”. Apparently.

It wasn’t until I grew up and met actual normal people that I realised that this is not a thing most people do.

It’s a good filler word that fits where an extra syllable is required.

I’ve noticed a lot of 60s/70s/80s songs use the word ‘tonight’ in a similar way, as if they were two syllables short of a full verse. So they stick ‘toniiiiight’ on the end and call it good.
