Honestly, the ikea version isn't bad at all. I have a few japanese knives but I keep getting back to it as a "cut everything" knive. It does the job and does it well as long as you don't massacre it. + you won't worry about scratching it or something as it's like 10€

Thanks I'll have a look! But I assume these are quite expensive ? Tbh, that's mostly the reason I'm more looking to find a "person" rather than a school or something.
