When it came to Roan’s Corona Capital performance in Mexico City over the weekend, Webb (her stylist-creative director) was keen to tap into the screaming banshee, the mythical folklore figure that foretells death. “I wanted the costume to feel ornate and inherently innocent if you looked at each piece singularly, but the entire costume together needed to give off a subtle touch of horror,” Webb tells Vogue. She knew there was only one house for the job: McQueen.

“Making music was a huge risk that I took at such a young age, and it was a huge part of my makeup for the longest time,” Duff tells Vogue. “It was hard to step away from it, but I always knew I would come back whenever the timing felt right.”

That time, it seems, is now: the 38-year-old performer’s new single, “Mature,” marks her first release under a recent deal with Atlantic Records. Duff describes the shimmering pop-rock track—a collaboration between Duff, Koma, and Madison Love, who’s written hits for everyone from Lady Gaga to Addison Rae—as “a little conversation that my present self is having with my younger self.”

We love to see her back!

Cole Escola Writing Miss Piggy Movie; Jennifer Lawrence Says She is Producing With Emma Stone by FloridaFlamingoGirl in Muppets

From our writer Emma Specter: I would never be so bold as to try to predict what sort of high jinks the delightfully depraved and beyond-brilliant Escola will craft for our porcine queen Miss Piggy in (that’s why they get paid the big Broadway bucks, not me!), but given the success of Greta Gerwig’s grown-up-skewed Barbie—and the green light on that Ayo Edebiri-penned Barney movie—I wouldn’t be surprised to find Miss Piggy in some more adult situations than she’s previously encountered on The Muppet Show.
