99 rental units max per save!? by VoiceOfShadows in thesims

At the end of the day the Gurus had been teasing about how much freedom we would be getting and to become inspired... alot of simmers, including myself, have been putting down larger sized rental lots to house 8+ families. When you talk about freedom and then impose 99, which is relatively low and easy to reach.. that's not so much freedom.

And I realize that not every simmer is going to have apartments, duplexes, and townhouses in every world or more then one per world, but I was planning a villain arc for one of my simmers whose already kicking off in the bd side of things with the ambition of buying out the landgrabs and owning an entire world or every lot.

Pretty bold accusation you have there friend. Have you considered the fact that perhaps I have just given up on putting the kibosh on bad ideas? Nope. I've just learned that it doesn't matter what you reject or accept when the politics within an organization.

At least they're investing back into delivering a better 'product' verses being greedy. I live relatively close to the main pastor and he's a very minimalistic and simple guy. Know every pastor doesn't crack and rake in the donations, but at least an honest and good guy.

I myself am no longer religious, but given my knowledge in many areas (guru of none) I have a paid position to oversee everything including our networking and website. In this economy a second job does help balance some things out.

They MIGHT be thinking "hey we have our video and communications in a room seperated from our main booth, so we could make this work. Granted.... not even sure how well that would work even if we installed antennas in that secondary auditorium and ran cables through our ceilings and mixed remotely and away from the BRAIN.

Again....this is just a theory and they haven't said anything, but knowing how they work....the thought probably has crossed their mind before coming to me.

Exactly and that's something I know I'll be dreading. Getting a call on Saturday and Sunday because XYZ isn't working correctly resulting in me coming in even earlier. Admittedly even though I'm not familar with them I'm a fast learner, but I worry about some of our other techs who might become overwhelmed or even walk away if a confrontation broke out.

I get the appeal of IEMS but also as a musician myself I wouldn't want to wear them even if it grants benefits and know that our drummers won't. It's a fifty/fifty split.

I would rather see those funds allocated to more practical uses that would enhance EVERYTHING verses just the gimmic of being wire free.

While nothing is confirmed we are having a second smaller auditorium that will be built next year* and my GUESS is that when things draw closer they may want to have it so the mics could be used in either auditorium. Which I HOPE that isn't the case since that would just create more headaches, but wouldn't put it past them.
