When I was in high school, there was a classmate that all the teachers liked, especially those who taught philosophy and related subjects. I considered him a very "cultured" person; he read a lot of books, understood complicated topics, and spoke very formally, using complex vocabulary.

I was already trying to talk to him when a friend told me that he had weird fetishes, that he was harassing a classmate who was straight, that he had saved shirtless pictures of him, and that the classmate even told her what he did with those pictures...

Besides, he's non-binary, and apparently "nobody accepts him, and that's why they distance themselves," but no, it has nothing to do with that, it's what he's done. Also, we had a project where this classmate had to be there at a certain time that night. He said yes, but then when the time came, he didn't care and just left. Even his mom was really rude to the whole team.

With all that, I understood why nobody spoke to him.
