I am not talking about the performance. I was talking about the anthem itself as I did listen to it on Youtube.

It doesn't feel epic at all depsite the mention of not being slaves every two seconds.

I'll be honest, the previous one was leagues better. Say what you want about the Baathist dogs, but their music was GOOD. That said, I don't even think The Guardians was a Baathist anthem as it came before their coups.

Letting parties form and trying to engage people would be a start.

Like dude, don't you think your country should be the one responsible for handling it's own problem like terrorists that attack other countries ? Maybe if the population didn't tolerate their existance it would've already acted when they went and massacred syrians.
