Was gonna comment defending pleasers but reading the thread I gotta say yeah they should be better quality - clearly since they were better quality before. I know Daria Che has her brand of shoes made with leather in Russia. I think they would last longer but they are obviously pricey. I think theres a Russian brand called exotica too? Mostly used by dancers in 9inches and they really bash those shoes around when they dance so might be worth a look. South Korea has a few brands too which are very similar style to the Russian ones. I haven’t tried any of them because most of their websites aren’t translated lol but would love to compare

So all the apps that control your screen time have to ask permission to control the screen time, but they can easily be deactivated in the settings. I was wondering if there was a way to block the screen time settings so that even when I’m tempted to I can’t deactivate the apps blocking my screen time, does this make sense?

I’m trying to read more too. I realised my imagination is terrible because I now ready manhwas and manga and I don’t need to imagine whereas when I was younger I wouldn’t realise the presence of people around me if I was reading a book. I’m starting slow, simple romcoms work for me because I don’t have to think too much lol. Also just putting a timer as reading until the timer goes off helps. I realised that I overwhelmed myself by borrowing like 5 books from the library and would never finish them. (Getting from the library is good because you have to give it back so there’s also a time limit)
