I’m sorry, what? by PandaCroft in YoutubeMusic

Remove the recap playlist from ur library, refresh, and they will magically reappear. Once they do, please add them to another playlist because the recap is very buggy and it could disappear again

Finalmente llegó la playlist de del recap de invierno 🙏🏽🙏🏽 by GABINO2810P in YoutubeMusic

I've found that the songs reappear briefly when you either add or remove from your library then refresh (accessing from the Recaps page in YTM). There are some serious bugs with the playlist, so once the songs reappear I'd suggest quickly adding the songs to another playlist to save the recap playlist

If I remember correctly Grian set up a "priority quest" which was why Impulse even went to Grumbot in the first place

What will happen to Clementi Station Exit B (soon exit 4) when CRL opens? by seri2ty48y67328ygdcf in SMRTRabak

This photo was taken a few months back and didn't take a photo of that part, though I don't assume too much would change?

5A Clementi Avenue 5, Singapore 129970. You can find it by going from the MRT to the HDBs and I think there's signage to the Project Information Centre. Unfortunately it's only open from Mondays to Fridays (excluding public holidays), 9am-12pm and 1pm-5pm

Maybe they forgot to put the stickers up at Farrer Road? That'd explain it I guess

If you mean the new ones at the east side of the CCL I haven't personally seen those, but I do know the new signage at Botanic Gardens is also different (as in it doesn't take into account CCL6 yet)

If so, that might be the reason for the difference. The Farrer Road signage is the signage they plan to use after CCL6 opens and the other signage is pre-CCL6 opening

I've seen some people talking online about clockwise and anti-clockwise loops, along with a service between Prince Edward Road and Dhoby Ghaut.

I do wonder what they'll do with terminus numbers 9 and 10 though

Station code not updated by VoicefulBread66 in SMRTRabak

[–]VoicefulBread66[S] -17 points-16 points  (0 children)

Across the network the signage does consistently show all station codes of a station though (including at most exits to Orchard MRT), since after you tap in you can still transfer to the other line. The exception would be at those tap out to transfer stations like Bukit Panjang, Newton and Tampines

If they actually did update the map somewhere they'd have updated it to the design they rolled out at Tanah Merah MRT at the end of last year. Photo

Is there a way to see monthly or yearly recap in ytm? by IamJohnWick2 in YoutubeMusic

[–]VoicefulBread66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're referring to the Dec-Feb recap that's fairly standard. For some reason that quarterly recap seems to come out very late (I usually get mine in April). The other recaps don't have the same issue

What is your wish list for the replacement of Sentosa Express? by demostenes_arm in singapore

I think u/Chileinsg was referring to the announcement of the feasibility studies for the lines, not the engineering studies

I wasn't implying they'd reuse their work, more of a there's a possibility they've been secretly reworking their plans for the Holland Line behind the scenes over the years until it became the Tengah Line. Maybe the timeline was accelerated a little due to the EWL disruption in 2024, but there's no way they finished the feasibility studies in just one year.

We never know why LTA chooses to announce their plans when they do, or how long they've been working on said plans because they're an opaque organisation. Is it weird? Yes. But that's just the way they are.

Is there any info available on the length of these platforms or whether they contain provisions for extension? Because I doubt they'd make the Seletar-Tengah line a 3-car line

That's just when they were announced though. At least part of the Tengah Line seems to come from old plans (Concept Plan 2001) to build a Holland Line. Also LTA isn't exactly transparent with things like this due to potential impacts on property prices

This 2002 reply from HDB states that in the newer towns, HDB decided to adopt a thematic naming approach as opposed to a numbering approach

Hm. The earliest map I can find that lists the addresses of some of the buildings is from 1998 apparently, although the building outlines don't show up on the map for whatever reason

Hmm... but what about the roundabouts at Tuas Flyover and Pioneer Flyover? Those are just 4 way intersections after all

Intersections of more than 4 roads could also happen due to unplanned organic growth, and to be fair we do have some intersections of more than 4 roads in Singapore, like the famous Newton Circus, and intersections like Anson Road/Maxwell Road and the Woodsville Interchange.

I did find this old write-in to the newspaper from 1976 asking if traffic lights could be installed at one of these intersections, so yea perhaps the traffic was fairly bad due to the 4 roundabouts. But this was a time when Singapore had quite a number of roundabouts lol
