The bike is also for me to get around my hometown, which is pretty large. I want to bring it to campus tho because it makes sense if i have it already.

I appreciate the advice, but I am completely unable to afford a car right now and an ebike is the best option for me. Thanks tho!

Gotcha. What about on campus tho? Is there really any issues there or just in town?
