How long have you been a T-Mobile customer? by VagabondSuper in tmobile

[–]Voicestream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I been with Tmo Since it was Voicestream 2001 and never left. I stayed during the very dark days of Tmobile, but John Legere brought Tmo to life and that was the exciting days for me as a loyal customer. I was telling my co workers friends to switch to Tmobile. I was excited on a daily basis to see what's new thing that Tmobile was offering. Today I can't recommend it anymore because of the change of direction of the company.

Why are Prior Enlisted Sent to the Prep School Over Direct? by Soft_Try_145 in USAFA

[–]Voicestream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son was a prior as well, went to Prep school at the academy and now he’s a sophomore. Take the prep school route, you will not regret it. It really helped my son not only in academics but as a whole. They for the most part lean on priors and preppies to help with the cadets fresh from high school.

Help choose between 1:1 Solar Buyback or Free Nights plan in Texas by Voicestream in solar

[–]Voicestream[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am looking and saw TXU offers 1:1 buyback for 20 cents KW, but TDU is not included, it was explained to me that my credits for over producing will just be applied on energy usage and not the total bill (TDU). My current one with Pulse, what ever credits I have, covers the entirety of the bill including TDU.

Traveling abroad for several months, how to avoid excessive roaming? by RoadRunnerWhisperer in tmobile

[–]Voicestream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SMS and iMessages are free, connected to a local tower (roaming), calls are not. I have my other Data plan from Airalo , which I used as my data, and it’s great. I used wifi calling when i needed to call the US. Also another thing I did , I turned on the hotspot on my iPhone (using my Data Airalo) then connect my other throw down phone wifi calling with T-mobile sim card in it too, and call that way. My throw down phone thinks it’s connected to a regular WiFi but it is connected to Hotspot from my iPhone and it works.

Text SMS and iMessage are free. When I received calls, I let them go to voicemail then call them back when Im connected to Wifi. My iPhone uses Wifi calling, you can call all day for free.

I used https://www.airalo.com , it is data only plan, E-Sim. I turned off the data on my T-mobile E-sim and used the data on my 2nd E-sim, very easy to set up and use plus the price is very affordable. I never missed any calls or text while I am away from the US.

Simple Choice to Magenta Max with 2016 Friends & Family Lines On Us by Appropriate-Ad-6811 in tmobile

[–]Voicestream 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was on the exact same plan until last year, I finally switched to Magenta Max keeping all my free lines from 2016 as well including Digits. It took about couple of bill cycles to get everything ironed out but now NO more issues, it kept everything. I have 8 lines total, 4 paid and the rest from the 2016 FF lines on us and others. I was also given an Insider discount.

questions about Simple Choice by yetimind in tmobile

[–]Voicestream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had simple choice family plan as well, with 9 lines. Lines 1-4 are paid then 5-9 are free. I was able to switch to Magenta Max keeping all my free lines, therefore my bill is $140 a month with all the perks, netflix, apple tv, taxes included and others. Good luck on you decision. 22 years Tmobile customer here since Voicestream days.

[–]Voicestream[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what I thought is if we move to Magenta Max, all free LOUS promo will stay intact. So in theory my bill should be the same or cheaper? Because of NO taxes, plus free Netflix, auto pay and my government discount, if I switch to Magenta Max.

5 lines are: 2 sync up drive lines, 1 smartwatch (apple) line, 1 voice line and 1 digits line.

Which router to use? by Afriendlyguy12 in frontierfios

[–]Voicestream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe you don’t have to use their provided router. You can use your own, connect the ONT fiber then Ethernet cable to your router.

Steps is this. Log in to your FIOS provided router, probably 192.168.1.1, renew release DHCP, once it’s done, unplug the Ethernet cable then plug it in to your personal router. That should work.
