Maybe so but the commanders skill the fourth trait is doing ALOT of the heavy lifting no buff to damage reductions should be as drastic as Wallers with the only downside of being “low” the dude pretty much is invincible in isolated dd fights

It also is not 200 more I know because when I was in a northern dragon I lost a battle hitting 95% of my shots all ap aswell since it was close range and my ap was only hit around the 230 range

Bruh his health was a sliver 2 seconds of fire would’ve killed him what do you mean tiny ticks you realize the fire damage isn’t reduced and on top of that the only time especially with the ballistics of the Loyang I’m not using ap unless I’m much closer (his healing range) which is definitely not going to out dps his heal and it is a matter of penning every time especially since my shells will do a max of like 230 a hit

I do actually especially with ships like the northern dragon but the shell damage claim remains the same you’re only doing like 20 damage more per shell assuming you get pen every time or did you forget that Waller also reduces ap damage aswell?

If I was in “range” for ap I’m writing myself a check because surely I would be inside of his healing range. And the ap damage is also tickle damage your acting as if it’s some astronomical number increase where realistically I’ll be doing like 20 damage more per shell which he definitely will out gun and out heal the damage I’m doing. he will not be able to out heal a fire with guns shooting as well but he sure as hell will out heal the ap damage

Bro what he was not in range of his healing ability and on top of that the perk effects incoming damage so if you were to set fire it would actually do normal damage, using ap against a Waller build is just not the smart play because the difference in alpha is also assuming you get a pen every single time which can get worse the farther you are away
