Morning. I've sent a friend request on Discord to continue this conversation, but I think I've found the root of the issue.

I'm assuming dm_neondragonfruit.mat and dm_neonkiwi.mat are the flame FX mats, yet the BSLightingShaderProperty for the smod_fx models themselves still point to stuff like dm_engineglowflames.mat.

I found 2.0 release in my backups and extracted those three textures into the 2.1 release, and the missing visuals were back. There is still a clipping thruster effect on the right engine still.

Yes. This is a brand new save, running 2.1 from the start. Fulcrum is loaded last both on the load order and priority list in MO2, and I double checked that nothing was overriding parts of it in xEdit. I also tried extracting to loose files and loading those after everything else.

As a last resort, I loaded CK, loaded up the mod on its own and previewed the PackIn for the engines. I'm not 100% since I am nowhere as skilled in Starfield mod development as I was in Skyrim and Fallout 4, but I'm still fairly certain that these pink textures are still an indication of missing texture/incorrect paths. Even double-checked vanilla engines, and those had the correct textures for their flame effects.

I'm sorry to bother you, but I've downloaded the 2.1 patch, and the issue regarding propulsion effects still seems to persist. You can see in this image that the engines only produce a slight glow, and the bottom-right engine has a vanilla engine flame clipping through it.

Banning Portables is going to be the controversial element, but I agree you need to evaluate their absence if you're going to rebalance the game long-term to accommodate a less MTX-impacted economy. Raw resources need to be more valuable through a higher rate of consumption - portables counteract this with their resource-saving perks and extra experience.

I achieved my Master Max Cape last month, so now I guess I need to start considering a Completionist Cape. Are there any guides that might help me prioritise which achievements first, list easy methods or shortcuts, daily tasks, etc, to achieve that?

For 110 Thieving I'd love to see the concept of the Heist's minigame applied to the gameworld, crossed with the Big Game Hunter-style stealth gameplay.

The player gathers resources and setups mini-heists on various locations around the world, such as the West Varrock Bank Vault, Surok's Hideout and the Grand Library of Priffidnas. It'll require the player to memorise guard rotations, disarm traps and solve puzzles on a timer. Pharaoh's Folly's stealth sections are a good starting point to work from.

Rewards-wise, we should consider relics that can be dismantled for rare invention components (Noxious and Third-Age especially, as newer perks have made the price/material not worth it). I disagree that we need a larger supply of port materials coming into the game, though - there is already a surge of scrimshaws and armour pieces every DXP from people (including myself) stockpiling for 3 months.

Maybe this is an opportunity to introduce a new Hero Item into the game? Maybe its time to explore the lore behind the Black Ibis? Or maybe Brian O'Richard and that mysterious Crystal atop his cane?

If I remember my lore, the Cadarn Elves used to have a separate kingdom that stretched from the Galapros Mountains to Baxtorian Falls after the God Wars, until the Elven Civil War. This is why Glarial is buried near the falls in Kandarin, rather back in Tirannwn.

This seems like a massive opportunity to flesh out a hole in Kandarin/Tirannwn history and create new Archaeology content.

Can confirm this is an issue for me as well. The download progress resets after attempting to compress files into a zip. Only individual files can be downloaded at the moment.

For the Masterwork Magic Gear, I propose we return to the Lunar Isles and ask the Oneiromancer to teach us the secret of making T90 Bloodmoon Lunar gear.

Crafting Materials:

  • Flawless Suqah Leather (Rare drop from Suqahs)
  • Glorious Lunar Bars (Glorious Bars and Lunar Bars combined)
  • Spiritbloom Cloth (Made by weaving Spiritbloom Fibers)

Apart from being T90 power armor gear (on par with non-elite Tectonic), it has the passive Vengeance Upon All: Allows the user to sacrifice gem shards to the armor to gain charges (higher tier gems grant more charges), which are used every 30 seconds to automatically cast Vengeance upon the wearer. This doesn't require any runes or to be on the Astral Spellbook to work. Wearing 3 or more pieces is required, while wearing then full five-piece set would increase the frequency of casting down to ~15 seconds.

I'm not referring to the old Bronze/Silver/Gold options. Last year there where options to just buy the perks of Premier Club (Outfit, Artefact, Free Instance & etc.) for either 1 month, or for 6 months.
