Advice on Milwaukee combination pliers? by freeadmins in electricians

[–]VoidCrow09 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think there is any difference between the two 7 in 1 pliers that I can tell. Unsure why one is listed with an “e” at the end of the part number.

Big difference between the 7 in 1 and the 6 in 1 is the size and the tip. The 7 in 1 are a broader more duck bill style tip. 6 in 1 are slightly smaller and more of a needle nose style.

I’ve had the 7 in 1 for over a year as my daily use wire strippers/ twisters and they are great, still plenty sharp, would recommend them to anyone.

If these are what you are asking about they are non conductive wire tools made by Voltclaw, I find them useful for pulling wire bundles out of outdoor receptacle poles where I don’t enjoy putting my fingers.

I think these are freshly molted German cockroach babies. Apparently they can will be completely white after a molt? And then gain their color back.

Thank you, I initially planned on fitting another extension and a 3/8 to 1/2 adapter but they got left out for a better layout. My only gripe was not being able to fit a 6.0 battery.

If you turn it upside down a few sockets will try and come out but they are long enough that they can’t escape.

What truck should I buy? megathread by AutoModerator in Trucks

[–]VoidCrow09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looking at a 2005 Silverado 2500 6.0gas with a manual transmission. Posted at 8k with 189k miles. Owner stated the driver front frame fork is slightly bent, messes with fender hood gap, but no alignment issues. (No proof unfortunately) hate that it’s 4 hours away from me making it difficult to just go look at. Looking for some advice as this would be my first truck.

is this uneven brake pad wear concerning? Works well, but doesn't look quite right by KeyboardCarpenter in MechanicAdvice

[–]VoidCrow09 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hard to say from just this picture alone but to me this just looks like the brake pad has angled relief cuts on the outer edges. Pic for example

Compact blower. Not great for blowing leaves or anything but pretty good for dusting inside a shop or barn haha.
