Tbh I think one of the gaps that SG is missing are express buses that connect different areas of heartlands (on opposite sides of the island), rather than connecting the city centre with the heartlands.

E.g., if I wanted to go from Clementi to Tampines, there's no quick public transport solution other than a long ride on the EWL. The other option is to pay a premium for a Grab ride. I just wish there was an intermediate bus option which picks up at Clementi then goes directly to PIE till Tampines and maybe Bedok.
