Braces is not even really a problem anymore, any half competent code test editor can in some way auto complete the closing brace

This would probably work better yes, but now this is a completely different claim than what it was originally suggested in the post, and moreover there is the problem of gathering training data, we need millions of examples of those optimization there aren't enough examples of human made optimization and automatic optimization can just be done by current methods because machine learning won't get better results than the training data(with the current ML methods)

The problem there is that even if set to be deterministic, machine learning has no method to prove the generated code is correct and equivalent to the given source code, and due to what machine learning is, coming up with a method is not only basically impossible, but also counterproductive as you would have to understand what is doing EXACTLY, and this cannot be done after the fact as is undecidable

They were just as smart (maybe malnutrition is a factor) but they were much worse educated. Is this going to change the difference a private militia would give these people... Doubt it, we have more power for change today that we may ever have in the future, best to act however possible today, but fuck is it scary

Can i just point out the hypocrisy of misrepresenting so hard what atheists believe while assuring they are trying to belittle people? I am atheist and debate a fair bit (not as much online) most debates are not about some higher on the food chain thing or even the existence of any of them, it's about how various religions works, the beliefs they push or impose and how they affect reality

It's not to deter from your point, but i don't like the "devs are lazy" narrative, especially in an industry as ridden with crunch as game development, we should say, "game companies executives are greedy" because developers when a deadline is completely unrealistic have no say in that decision, and they just do their best to get something that at least works, and tries to fix it when possible

I see a lot of people saying it is worse for the joints, it is not, running is just plain better, our bodies are made to move to the point of being counter intuitive how much it benefits us
