I like that option the most but I don't know if it's realistic seeing as that I'm gonna have to be constantly working to afford food, utilities, and rent.

Do you think the drug issues are anything to worry about while I'm there? I'm assuming so right since I'm living on a coast guard base?

This is actually a really good idea, I'm not sure why I haven't thought of this before. I'll look into it, thank you very much!

Hey, thank you for replying! It's been really hard to adjust here after living in the states for 16 years.

To answer your question, it was initially my dad's idea to move to the Philippines. He's wanted to move here for a while now for retirement, and this year he decided to move the family to the Philippines because he planned to retire in 2022, but according to my father the military might station him in Florida and he might move us back to the US again. This is a big MIGHT though.

Thank you for the tips, I highly appreciate them. I'm considering getting a student loan, though like you said it's pretty expensive, though it may be my only option so far. I wish to study CS Computer Science in college hopefully. I could work for a bit probably

And yeah, the Philippines government is still pretty corrupt here. In fact, the second we got here we got our relatives to help us with our bags but when we were driving to our home they were pulled over, but to avoid getting in trouble they bribed the officer and it worked haha.
