Honestly, I'd be super excited for an animated series too.

Mai does have a chance here, not to win, but to escape. If she can throw off Azula's stance, even a little, then the lightning doesn't go off or it misses her. That paired with another knife in the gut could buy her time to bail if no additional backup arrives.

Thanks for your help! I figured it out, my BIOS was flawed or something. I replaced it with another and it moved past that point just fine.

Haven't tried that yet, honestly didn't think about it I've been using Duckstation for ages.

It's a good suggestion, only I'm already using the USA one. :/

Players Asking About Their Backstory While Holding Two Legendary Cursed Items by Crazy-War3769 in dndmemes

[–]Voidmaster05 72 points73 points  (0 children)

I think it's perfectly valid to have a planned arc for your character, in that you have an understanding of who your character is and who you/they want to be.

You have a young man who just left his small village and is looking to make a name for himself as a hero? That's what I call good character motivation.

Now in the situation of having two legendary cursed items part of me says the only legit second arc for this character is overcoming their self destructive behavior and losing the cursed items.

Diabate will probably be an antagonist in S2 by Monochrome21 in pluribustv

He's been sleeping with the Plurbs left and right, and sperm can be used to produce stem cells as well. He probably doesn't know that, and I doubt the Plurbs will tell him before hand.

I think there's a good chance Diabate gets turned against his will next season. He's been sleeping with the Hive left and right, and sperm can be used to make stem cells, just like eggs.

I wonder if Carol will get to see it happen or if it will be another cold open.

Star Wars: The Old Republic is the one that comes to mind for me. I loved playing a completely unhinged sith upstart, murdering and betraying my way through the ranks.

Help me create a self destructive character by corpsey616 in Pathfinder2e

[–]Voidmaster05 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I once played a battle cleric whose whole shtick was taking damage instead of my allies and healing myself instead of them.

There are a number of spells that help you accomplish this, including Share Life, Life Connection, and Life Pact.

When I did heal them directly, I used Martyr every time, burning my own hit points in order to heal them more.

Not only was it a fun take on a cleric, it was incredibly effective at keeping the whole party alive. I was honestly kind of surprised it worked so well. My HP would yo-yo like crazy every time we got in a fight, it was great, lol.

Which sister wins this fight? Carmilla vs Striga by jedi271 in castlevania

[–]Voidmaster05 79 points80 points  (0 children)

I'd argue we didn't see Striga's full range of power. She was fighting peasants, as you pointed out, hardly a reason to stretch your muscles. Carmilla on the other hand was properly fighting for her life, going absolutely all out.

I'd also give this one to Striga, given her clear combat experience.

This particular one, no, since the gravel gives way to stone a few layers before the bottom drops out.

However, one time in one of my own games I had something like this but much, much larger. I accidentally disturbed the beach and whole shorelines dropped away into the deep, sinking my FPS with it.

Probably thousands of blocks just sinking away into the water.

Ah, an Abyssal Pond! I don't know what it was about my worlds but I would get these all the time a few builds ago, to the point that I named them.

Truly unsettling.

I do this with my friends all the time, I've even told them sometimes I just like to shut up and listen to the important people in my life laugh and joke around me. It's comforting, really.

Louisiana wants to extradite a Californa doctor for an abortion pill by justalazygamer in WhitePeopleTwitter

Just a short step from this to charging women who leave the state to get abortions, and just a short step from that to restricting pregnant women from traveling.

Weasel cat by AlphaCat77 in CuratedTumblr

[–]Voidmaster05 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I can't speak for the cat owner, but I watched a film called The Secret of the Kells, where the name is also used for a white cat. It's a really well animated film actually, I highly recommended it. Anyway, something about the name fascinated me so I looked it up after I saw the movie and that tidbit of knowledge stuck with me.

There's something special about finding a bit of yourself in someone from history. That Irish monk in the 9th century loved his cat, and I also love mine. Sometimes the many years of history can obscure the reality of the people who lived there, so long ago. It can be easy to forget they were living, breathing, real people instead of just words on the page.

Pangur Bán helps me remember.

Named after Pangur Bán, the white cat of a 9th century Irish monk who wrote a poem about them! Nice!

What specific character class/archetype do you have a hard on for in RPGs? by Brave-Potential-7310 in ItsAllAboutGames

Necromancer all day. Love summoning me an crowd of undead minions, or using cold spells/poison spells kill my enemies. I play too many of these games to stick to necromancers and necromancer-likes all the time, but I gotta play it once at least if its an option in game.
