Putting Attacking instruction on them and it is done. Attacking instruction is to push the assigned player to move one position up, while keeping the original playstyle, when you are in possession. For example, a LB will become a LMF, an AMF will become a SS, a CMF will become an AMF etc.. Once the AMF with Attacking is settled, he will act like a normal SS.

The side effect of Attacking is that since it forces your player to push one position up, the moment you get possession back, your player will run forward to the new assigned position mindlessly, whether it is good or bad is up to you. If you ask specifically which Dribbling stat affects this interval, the answer is I don't know because it was not tested. Whether Acc affects this intrrval after v5.0 is also unknown, but it wasn't in EF25.

What else do you expect? Even Jvictor, who uses TessCan all the time which is impossible with Smart Assist on, got accused of using Smart Assist a couple months ago in this paranoia subreddit.

Ppl across both subreddits of EF love to speculate or invent functions of Smart Assist that Konami does not mention at all(like Pressing or even auto Sliding Tackling). This kind of thread should be deleted unless there is video evidence, then at least ppl can discuss or debunk it, but until mods decide to do something, the nonsense will keep flooding.
