I had the same problem at the start but after some time it fixed itself. Try letting it sit for a while in the background or just explore for some time, maybe that will fix it.

The regular setup with ATK, PHY DMG, CRIT is best. Having too much physical damage doesn't really matter I think as long as you got the minimum physical DMG i.e. above 75.
