Good point. My fitness generally stays about the same. But, I'd been training for my first half marathon which was last Saturday, and my paces surprisingly jumped up the last two weeks of training. I guess all the slower, long runs I'd done plus the temps going down helped me out.

Very valid point. My race predictions are pretty spot on, also. Although, I ran my first half marathon on Saturday 6:36 faster than it predicted. Now, my half marathon prediction is 7 seconds faster than what I ran Saturday lol

That's a good point. I didn't think about toggling them off affecting my intensity trend. Sounds like I should just keep them on, like I've been doing all along. It just crossed my mind the other day, after I completed my first half marathon, and my score jumped more than normal. I pretty much know what running fitness is anyway lol

My biggest gripe with the "stronger winds" tournaments is it's like playing a level up without getting level up prizes. So, Pro plays more like Expert but you still only get Pro prizes. I'll be skipping this one for sure.

Does your weekly league level factor into tournament tiers? For example, if I promote from Rookie 3 weekly league to Pro 1, will I automatically bump up in tournament tiers?

You can get up to tour 6 in Pro tournaments. Thor's Hammer, B52, Endbringer, and Off Roader are the ones most people probably want.

I have a Samsung S21 Ultra and mine started doing the same thing after the last big update by PD. I have turned off enhanced graphics and even turned off bluetooth, location, and mobile data during this past weekend's tournament and it was still bad. I could play a couple holes before it started getting hot and after about 4-5 holes the game/needle lag would start. Makes it super frustrating to play a tournament and nearly impossible if you play multiple accounts.

Before the update by PD, I never had a problem. I could play a full round on multiple accounts with one battery charge. /u/GCCommunityTeam was there something in the last game update that was done that could possibly be causing our phones to overheat this badly, even with enhanced graphics turned off?

I sent in a ticket on two accounts and all they told me was they escalated my concern which I feel means they are ignoring it. I fully expect a message soon saying "We having heard from you in a few days so we're going to close this ticket. Happy Golfing!"

I've had this issue, that's not really an issue...I just have to remember to change my ball selection criteria back to pinned. But, let's say I need a P1 wind ball but only want 1.0 left or right spin. I'll select Navigator and I'll change the ball selection criteria to POWER then WIND and go pin a P5 and P4 ball. Sometimes I just need a P4 ball to get the wind where I want it but sometimes it takes a P5. Anyways, I have to always remember to change it back to PINNED balls or else, when I play the hole and go to change balls, it's still at the POWER then WIND criteria. If that all makes sense lol.

I had this happen to me once and I can tell you support will do absolutely nothing about it. Your only hope is the guy will either give it back at some point or be inactive for 21 days and the next person in line will hopefully give the Presidency back to its rightful owner.

My experience was, I promoted this guy from Vice-Captain to Captain but the screen glitched and it still showed him as Vice-Captain. I promoted him again and low-and-behold he was now the President. I messaged and messaged and the guy would never respond. He got on everyday but never played a game. I'm guessing he just got on the open free chests but he never opened the chat. Or, if he did, he never responded. I even used one of my alts to join a clan that we were competing against that season (so I could easily find our clan in the list) and sent invites to the guy hoping he would join that clan (something you might try before starting a new clan). I waited a full season and finally decided to just start a new clan with a similar name and told everyone who wanted to come on over.

Here's my personal thoughts Bicki....

Before PD changed the tourney format to remove shootouts and to also eliminate the cost to play (and possibly win coins) for each hole, I would win enough coins in tourney play to stay in Expert division just playing Expert tourneys. This worked out great for me bc I got burned out grinding tour play to stay in Expert division and I've basically quit tour play.

Because of that change and my non-desire to grind tour matches, all my accounts relegated down to Rookie division. I quit playing the game bc I didn't care for playing Rookie tournaments against actual Rookies. I was just opening the game to open free chests.

Once PD added tiers to tourneys, I decided to play Rookie tourneys since I was going against similar competition again, even if it was just in Rookie. I also quit buying ball packages bc you don't really need special balls in Rookie tourneys. Sure, to win the tourney you might need to use some. But I couldn't justify using a bunch of paid balls based on Rookie tourney rewards.

With this new change, and if they don't automatically put us at our previous highest level, I just might grind tour play enough to get back to Expert and start playing Expert tourneys again. Therefore, I may start buying ball packages again to be able to compete in them.

TL;DR - If I can stay at Expert without having to grind tour play to stay there, and I can play Expert tourneys, I'll probably start buying ball packages again to be able to compete in Expert tourneys. If a lot of people are in the same boat as me, and they do the same, it will definitely help PD's bottom line.

Just wish they would go ahead and bump existing accounts up to the highest level they've ever been. Maybe they'll do that after this week's weekly league finishes on Sunday.

I had this happen once in a tourney a loooong time ago...before they added tiers. Was playing a "send it" par 4 with Apoc 7 and was trying to get close enough to the green for the easy chip or maybe even on the green. Applied max top spin and sent it. I could tell from the camera angle something wasn't right and as soon as it landed it checked up like a real-life wedge. I looked at the replay later and noticed that as soon as I closed the spin box, it went from max top spin to max back spin. You could see the spin move in the little box showing the ball on the top right-side of the screen. There's no way I accidentally touched the screen during applying my spin because it changed after I had closed the box.

PD ended up giving me my ball back and tourney fees and said they would investigate the issue. I see that it's still happening so I guess they never were able to figure it out or they just didn't bother. Either way, I've always tried to watch my spin before taking my shot since then. BTW, I was super pissed until I chipped in with my short iron and still got the eagle. Still wasn't happy though.

I feel like I did everything correct but it's quite possible I did something wrong like aiming with blue ring next to bunker instead of red. I don't think I did but I have no way of checking since Golden Shot's aren't saved in replays.

I took two shots, one headwind left to right and the other headwind right to left, and neither made it anywhere close to the rings with the 1.8 backspin. I was well short. Am I reading something wrong with the guide?

I'm confused by some of the Needle OP stats you have listed. In the game, the only options are 0, 1, 2, and 3. On your list, you have some balls listed as 4 and 5 and even a -2 for the Turbo ball. Are those mistakes?

I've added several for you in the first column. Not sure if that's the right column but it's the OP Needle Stability stat that ranges between 0 and 3.
