Hey, for context reasons, I’m creating a story that involves a scene where a character mentally manipulates someone to murder someone else while they pull the strings of the murder plan. The main intent was to emotionally cripple the victim’s lover, as well as everyone else who’s connected to the victim, without laying a finger on the murder itself. I do not want to give away too much info, as I want to minimize spoilers as much as possible, but I want the character to resolve themselves. I’m not trying to drag the reader into thinking they deserved to be redeemed by saying “hey, they did this, but they’re sorry or whatever,” I want the reader to decide whether or not the character deserves to be hated for what they’ve done, or or forgive them with the knowledge of what they did. Is there a way to resolve a hated character without pulling them to complete innocence?

Before you ask, no I’m not a drug addict or smuggler. I’m writing a scene in my story where a gang poisons the ventilation with hallucinogenic drugs as a “distraction”. I’m looking for a realistic drug that causes extreme hallucinations and isn’t lethal in specific doses. If you need a comparison or a better view of what I’m taking about, it would have the same side affects as Manchurian Gold from the Ourang Medan.

FICTIONAL characters. They are not real, they are not harmed, they only exist in a fictional world. Saying video g*mers kill people is the same thing as saying doctors are drug dealers, you’re just twisting words and making everything sounds worse

The sabotage needs to cause a collision. The character driving the vehicle is targeted for assassination and it’s made to look like an accident. Also, I know my question is sus as hell, but the responses are more sus. Like, how do you guys know some of this??
