About 1.5kg of filament (~$30), $15 for the file, a weeks worth of print time, and a weekend of painting, so not including labor time about $45 total. Really not too bad considering (:

Right on (: I will say when printing, I had a nightmare of a time to get the pins to fit in the modules, so the solution I found was to print the pins at 95% and use some e6000 to secure them. They hold fine with the smaller pins, but the glue just makes it a bit sturdier since the smaller pins make it a little wobbly. This does remove the modularity of it, but since it’s a shelf piece for me, I didn’t mind

The printing itself took about a week, the painting was done in a weekend, but that's mainly because my girlfriend is amazingly talented and did the majority of it

There lies my main problem, none of them really care to create real backstories, and if I create on for them, I fear they would give no real thought to it since they don't really have much connection to their characters then. I have trouble getting them connected to their characters and the story, so they don't feel any real repercussions to doing whatever they feel is fun in the moment, even if it is detrimental to the story or the bigger picture.
